If I remember correctly, I didn’t connect to bass knob until after the key 500.1 was setup.
I followed the auto setup and then connected the bass knob.
I ran the sport tune the entire time I had the truck. I sold it not too long ago with ~120,000 miles on it. Never had any mechanical problems in general, but I did follow the maintenance suggested by ford.
I can’t find any dyno graphs on their Facebook, but Speed Perf6rmanc3 has a maverick running the nostrum pump and a port injection kit they fabbed up. I believe they also had plans for a big turbo, but I haven’t seen any updates recently.
The Maverick is my daily driver, but I also keep a 2006 Sti in the garage. Ill drive it on some Fridays if the weather is decent as I slowly run through a restomod of sorts.
Im not going to recommend this to anyone else because Ive never done an oil analysis, but im at 113,xxx on my 2022 XL 4K. 3" turboback and tuned since around 20,000 miles with no mechanical issues yet. I do not baby the truck. Warm up maybe 30 seconds or so, drive moderately for about 5 minutes...
Anyone on here with silvers regularly load the bed?
I've ran Goodwin lowering springs on stock shocks/struts for about 100,000 miles and I think the rear shocks called it quits.
I load the bed at least a couple times a month with 800-1200 pounds. More often during the summer.
I can't speak for power levels over 300whp. I'm tuned with a 3" turboback and it's been launched plenty. Knock on wood, but 94,000 so far no issues.
I also own a 2006 Subaru Sti that's just tuned on Cobb. The Maverick is a ton of fun, a great daily, and hauls the occasional trailer, but it's...
Let me see if I can dig up any pictures before the springs were installed.
Tire diameter for the stock 225/65R17 is 28.52" vs 28.18" for the 235/55R18. I know it wasn't enough of a decrease in diameter for my eye to notice.
I'm running Firehawk Indy 500's right now on 18x8.5. Truck is lowered on goodwin springs.
I have not autocrossed the Maverick yet, but I've heard fair things about the firehawks on a course. Plenty of meat there. They are 235/55R18
The FM also comes with V-Band connections in place of band clamps. That's a nice plus. Ivan has posted he has no drone in the cab while cruising which is something I had to address with the SW setup with both additional muffler and resonator.
As far as performance with the stock turbo, my truck...
I believe there are 3 wires that you'll have to run from the wheel to the pcm, and you'll need a proper cable and forscan to allow for the paddle shifting feature to run. It sounds like on the XL you just can't run the heated feature. I pulled the trigger. $388 is a great price for just the...
Those figures were just estimated yearly national averages a quick google search turned up. Not necessarily the way I live myself. I was just attempting to show how the value of my home now has increased near 30% in just 3 years and cost of living can add up rather quickly.
With that said, I...
I think comparing 70's/80's to now just isnt apples to apples. $2500 where I am currently living would be hard to find. An older 3 bed 2 bath ranch (under 1600 ft²) sells for about 350,000 - 400,000. With 20% down (70,000) plus closing fees, you'd be right around $2500 including property tax and...
