Second Image: Freeway drive home for two-thirds of the distance. Twice the overall speed, half the time. Nearly identical MPG with less EV. Shocking!

Complete round trip. No elevation change. Drive around a residential area. 15.5 MPH average. About 6 stop signs. Maybe 7. I forget. Top speed 28 MPH.

3.3 miles between charges.
I cheated a little.
Started with a "full" battery; ended with an empty one.

Just a test.
Gotta test the envelope. On day 8 of ownership.

This is what my cluster looks like. Your photo looks to have a bigger screen between the dials.
You have the standard XL/XLT NON LUX screen, if you got the Lariat you would have the bigger screen with more data read out.

Heres the latest tank, $2.96=RUG. Its a personal best on the mpt=721m, still getting better driving. Less AC use here, temps are coming down.

This screen is what you get in a Lariat, which gives you more read out data.

730.9 miles on truck.
719.7 miles since I've owned it; since the dealer provided fill up. Who knows how close to "topped up" they gave me? I'm very pleased with this truck so far.

750+ MPT with mostly city driving.

Finally got gas. First tank so I wasn't comfortable going more than a mile past zero. If there's half a gallon left (pretty sure there is 1 gallon left) this is an 800 mile tank in real-world conditions. 90% daily commute. But for 25 miles I hauled a few hundred pounds of concrete blocks, and for 25 miles I pulled a 3000 pound trailer at city speeds. Ya really! Otherwise my MTE would have been higher.

First image trailer trip one-way on this tank:

Second: before fill up
Thrid: After fill up.
This was the gas provided by the dealership. I'm sure they did nothing to "top off" since it was money out of their pocket. Was about 11.x miles on the truck when I got it.
Last image, my first fill up. Expensive in SF. Now you'll understand how important 50+ MPG is!

How many times did the refuel warning pop up? That tank and fuel lines must have had vapors to need 14.9 gal. Your 770 already beat my best tank, 742.

I will say that your Slippery mode test is performing well. I have been driving more than my average on the hwy this tank with it (Slippery) at the moment I have 598 miles and 152 to E. The longest being a drive from South SJ to SF, Oracle Park. I think this mode could very likely make it to 800 with only city driving and normal conditions.

50 MTE verbal message no yellow light.
25 MTE verbal message and yellow light that stayed on until refueled.
10 MTE verbal message (I think it was 10, wasn't writing stuff down.)
0 MTE verbal message (on the screen)

Slippery most of the time.
Towed those ~25 miles in Normal.
No need for tow/haul in the city.
No need to keep the engine running more than needed. EDIT:Tow mode keeps the engine on durning the entire deceleration, but will turn the engine off at a dead stop.

I said it elsewhere: I think low will be an advantage when slowing while towing. No need to trigger the trailer brake early. But has anyone confirmed: Do brake lamps come on while slowing briskly in low? In a Bolt EV they do because in an EV regen is about as strong as friction brakes so you get the same deceleration. There is an on board decelerometer that turns on brake lamps while regen past x amount.

I think it's worth pointing out I put in 14.9 but we don't know how much the dealership put in. On board computer thinks I burned 13.35 gal at 57.7 MPG.

I did real heavy duty towing today.
I take back the part about Low probably being helpful while towing.

NOT NEEDED

In Tow/Haul mode you get HELLA strong regen with every pedal lift. In fact going down hills with a heavy trailer I had to use a little go pedal to reduce regen. And Low / HAUL / Engine brake does not turn on the brake lamp, thus does not active the trailer brake.

And I went from one extreme to the other. 57.7 MPG on daily commute.

19.9 MPG vacation towing in the Sierra mountains on a 95 degree day with air-conditioning.

So this morning I filled up and it was the first time that I went over 700 miles on one tank. I had 745.6 miles on the odometer to be exact, and about 4 miles of range left in the tank. If you are light footed enough and are fortunate to have the commute to reach this feat you would need to average about 50.7 mpg to make it to 700 miles. On this tank I did take the freeway on multiple occasions, more than I thought would affect my overall mpg, but somehow I still got 53 mpg. There were 4 other times I was averaging over 50 mpg but I filled up around half a tank due to wanting to top off before gas price shooting up. I have been keeping track of all my fill-ups and have averaged 48.9 mpg since I got my XLT in January. I'm loving Maverick and can't wait to finish my audio upgrades, and possibly do some camping/overlanding with it.

So who else has made it to 700?
We photo documentation of a such a far fetched claim 🤔

Here is the pic just before I went to fill up that tank. So far I have had 3 tanks make it over 700. I would have had more if I did not fill up at 1/4 tank or more thinking gas prices would jump up, which they did. All but my last tank were on Eco Mode. My last tank was on Slippery Mode and I got 741.1 miles (53.5 mpg).
