I unofficially joined the 700 club (forgot to take a picture). I had 686 and 30 miles left when I went to fill up. Took 14.7 gallons. All using normal mode.

Believe it or not, I was on pace for a 800 mile tank but the temps in the midwest dropped like a rock and killed the mileage.

Now if only Ford could figure out the rattling dash/windshield, the grabby brakes and the sync system that locks up almost daily...

(Re)Filled 14.7 gallons and you were not empty, and were probably not very close to empty.

You along with me and about 114 others (guess) show the truck has a larger than 13.8 gallon tank.

13.8 is what the computer assumes to have as fuel on board for a full tank. But in reality there is more. A couple gallons more.

You will if you go past the 0 Mi to E notification. You would still have about 2 gal reserve.

I know it's not 700 but I did get 500+ with my Ecoboost AWD 4k. Does that count LoL. 700 is amazing for a truck!

Might not even need the reserve. Got great mileage yesterday and today.

It's amazing the amount of time you can spend in electric when you plan on it. I have a few small inclines that usually trip the truck into hybrid and if I can just get it on electric long enough to reach those hills then it's running hybrid and charging the battery at the same time. Doing a two for one job.

So this morning I filled up and it was the first time that I went over 700 miles on one tank. I had 745.6 miles on the odometer to be exact, and about 4 miles of range left in the tank. If you are light footed enough and are fortunate to have the commute to reach this feat you would need to average about 50.7 mpg to make it to 700 miles. On this tank I did take the freeway on multiple occasions, more than I thought would affect my overall mpg, but somehow I still got 53 mpg. There were 4 other times I was averaging over 50 mpg but I filled up around half a tank due to wanting to top off before gas price shooting up. I have been keeping track of all my fill-ups and have averaged 48.9 mpg since I got my XLT in January. I'm loving Maverick and can't wait to finish my audio upgrades, and possibly do some camping/overlanding with it.

So who else has made it to 700?

First time hitting 700 on a tank. I did go about 5 miles after 0 though to get it. Took 14.379 to fill it. 48.7 actual mpg. Which is pretty consistent how far the guage is from reality. I also fill up at a cheap station that has very slow pumps so I think it clicks off a lot later than a faster pump would trigger.

I would've made it with a few on the MTE but I had a ten mile trip where I only averaged about 40mpg. That also great lowered the projected MTE once it was filled. But still awesome that I went that far on just one tank and a small tank at that.

Made it. Filled back up with 13.65 gallons. So over 52mpg perhaps. Pretty sure would have gotten to 800 easily, maybe 850 but don't want to drain my tank.

So my second tank over 800 miles.

I have to get gas as I had to get up early, I wanted to sleep in. I have 146 MTE showing on the dash, so 827 miles for t his tank, this is my best MPG so far.
