700+ Miles Per Tank Club

For those of you posting about getting 700+ miles on a tank I’d appreciate knowing if you are using regular or a higher octane gasoline, and if there is ethanol added.

Near it. In the SF Bay Area so around 50-150 ft above sea level.

Hey question, i can always use some advice on improving FE, what mode are you in? And how many gallons do you put in your tank to get these numbers? Thx.

I'm either in Eco or Standard mode. Don't use anything else.

I attached my calculated at the pump data. I think the dash over estimates prob due to not being calibrated to my super light foot and commute. Pump don't lie. I'm sure there is a slight variable due to using different pumps.

87, 10% here in texas. I have the digital Lariat gauges.

I live @1200ft, good thing is I drop under 1k right out of property, there I can charge battery 100% right out of gate.

I have backed off using ECO as much and trying Norm mode more in an attempt to achieve 700mpt in Norm.

I have since changed oil(check out my other thread), whereas gone Full Syn 0-20w, might get a little from that procedure.

Still pulling down 700mpt, does not take as much driving effort, am I just comfortable to driving my first hybrid, or is break in helping?

Heres a couple, but you still got me beat..i only get 53mpg. I got 3 of 4 last tanks of 700m. Its tough getting these. How much fuel you putting in tank, i only 13.5g?

My XLT shows that in the dash display right after you shut off the key.

Shark, theres a way, go thru menus, the post above me was Aza, has his showing electric miles.

But yes, the lariat has some nice perks with it, i had to pay for them though, get a $20k truck, or a $33k truck with some extra perks?

When you're looking at one of your trip meters - Trip 1 or Trip 2 - press the three horizontal lines (menu) button on the right of the steering wheel. There should be an option for something like configure, 3rd or 4th option down. Choose that one - you'll get a list of what you can show on your trip meter. Scroll up/down to enable/disable - only 4 can be enabled at a time. Does one of those list Electric Miles?

Hopefully that makes sense.

You are right there, good work. Did you have to change driving habits very much?

I am getting very good driving highway and pulling down good numbers.

I can get 65mpg on a 20m highway trip, with ~8m electric miles. I am going to try to pull down a 700mpt with more highway miles and not using eco mode.
