Just want to shoot it to you straight, you aren’t gonna find a hybrid mav at a dealer lot to test drive, the odds are ridiculously low that you’ll get the chance to test one before someone has already bought it from a canceled retail order sight unseen.I'm really going to try to find one I can test drive before I commit the ordering one
August and then if I changed my mind before the build starts I'm goodWell luckily, you'll have plenty of time to decide! Lol!
All that was FIXED with TSB-2124 Francine.I've read the Hybrid reviews I've read the problems they have with them too breaking at slow speeds lighten up Francis. Glowing catalytic converter, what else should I know about, idle going up and down what else
Why search when you can treat discussion forums like your own personal support line, where we spoon-feed everything to you?Good God not this again.
Is the Search button really that hidden![]()
It brakes my heart! All that was FIXED with TSB-2124 Francine.
TSB 22-2124 -- 2.5L Hybrid idle surge fix (software update)

Interesting how the people who get worked up tend to be the ones to accuse others of the same.lighten up for crying out loud
You know how this works yet you take this approach anyway? So you're intentionally trolling us, understood.Just like on my Mustang sites I see people like you saying the same thing hit the search button from the guys that can't have a conversation spoonfed too funny this is what this is all about having conversations with people that have these trucks already you guys really need to lighten up
Agreed. I step on the gas to go and it goes. I don't know how the CVT works and I don't care. What I do care about is that the truck gets up to speed quickly and it does it with good gas mileage.I think it's great. I don't understand why people make such a big deal about how CVTs drive/feel vs a traditional automatic. It just... goes. In my lariat hybrid you barely even notice the engine unless you gun it
I don’t have a Maverick yet, but my wife has a hybrid RAV4, and I can describe it in two words: Smooth power. Ford and Toyota cross-license a lot of hybrid technology, and the RAV4 has a very similar eCVT.have you driven a Maverick hybrid? Wondering how it feels when driving it when you lay into it to pass somebody how it feels breaking I'm trying to find one to test drive but there impossible to find
