Shoot, you didn't even have the tailgate open! You could've hauled more ....
In my younger days, I hauled ridiculous loads in and on my Ford Focus. I was that guy people were taking pictures of in the Lowes parking lot.
The Maverick is better.
I have had several recalls done, all with the cruise control switches installed. (Mine is an early '21 XL, that didn't have it from the factory.) Nobody has blinked an eye.
Besides, modifying a vehicle does not void a warranty.
Two months is nothing, just park it.
As far as disconnecting the battery, DO NOT DISCONNECT UNDER THE HOOD!
If you feel the need to disconnect (which I would not do), disconnect the NEGATIVE CABLE (-) AT THE SOURCE, meaning the 12v battery under the seat (hybrid). There is no need to do...
I sometimes go two weeks without driving my Maverick, so these messages are no surprise. But I also can also get messages even the same day or the next day after I drive it 50 miles or more.
All it means is that the truck is turning off circuits which drain power needlessly. That is a feature...
I dislike the way the poll is worded, with the word "issues," while the op says "or even messages in Ford Pass indicating an issue."
Have I gotten messages? Sure, but that has no meaning to me. When I want to drive the truck, it starts right up, and I go, every time. There is no issue for me...
Or, alternatively, follow the manufacturer's recommendations, do nothing more, and still have the engine outlive everything else on the vehicle, with less cost, waste, and hassle.
That's my plan.
