If you are riding thru the car wash then put it in neutral. That is all I've ever done. At my car wash I turn it over to the staff to vacuum the interior then they normally put it on the track to pull it thru the car wash. Since opening the door puts it back in park I get back in and run it thru...
I have the 4Knines and it works great. It is the same one Ford shows in their accessories but much cheaper to order direct from 4Knines. It does have slots for seatbelts.
All that does is keep the Maverick in neutral when you open the door. You should put it in park when you get out of the car. Probably just your getting in the car unbalanced the position it was in and it started rolling.
If you like the model/color/options on the one you have I would keep it. On the other hand I have nothing else to drive so I'm biased. Even at that I would really miss driving it while I waited. I have a Lariat, no lux and would love to have the lux package. If I had something else to drive I...
I've seen 2 in the wild in Albuquerque. One of them was visiting my neighbor from out of state. Another one passed me on the interstate. Couldn't tell if he waved or gave me a thumbs up or anything as his tint was pretty dark.
One advantage to living in the great southwest. OTOH we haven't had any rain this year that I recall and our forests are burning up. I suppose I need to worry about ash deposits.
I think it summed it up pretty well. The Maverick can function as a truck and a car. I'm using it more as a car and occasionally as a truck. The Civic other than holding an incredible mount of cargo can't haul truck stuff. They are both great vehicles it depends on what you need. Interesting...
I hadn’t noticed it much but I got a dash cover from Cover King. I got the velour model on my past 2 vehicles that worked out great but with the top cubby and screen on the Maverick the molded version may have been better. I’m letting it relax from shipping now before I use the included Velcro...

If you get a Lariat then you have a key fob that will unlock the door or if you are close and the key is in your pocket it will unlock the door if you touch or grab the driver or passenger door handle. I really like that part. You start or stop the truck by pushing the start button on the center...
My only real complaint about my Maverick is the key fob. I've had vehicles with key fobs for years with no issues. With my Maverick fob I've managed to hit the alarm button 4 times in 4 months by accident. In the previous couple of decades and multiple vehicles I've only had it happen once...
I did an 800 mile round trip from Albuquerque to Denver. This is at an average altitude of 5200 feet. I set the cruise on 79 mph and I was consistently getting over 36 mpg. 37.6 between Raton, NM and Denver. Didn't need air conditioning so that helped. Used a little heater in the mornings. No...
Although my previous vehicle was a Mini Cooper S convertible prior to that I had a Tacoma. I really loved the Tacoma but if I had it now going to the Maverick would be a no brainer. With the Tacoma I had way more truck than I needed and to some extent the Maverick is more vehicle than I need but...
