Thank you! I have sent you a private message with the requested info and video. I have taken several more videos, with much better examples even… if you need them. Thanks g
I’ve got videos too. Mine started at 80 miles. Ford brand loyal for 35 years. This is the first time I’ve had to deal with this.

Mine today was unbearable… I have been lately banging my fist/hand against things… it was 52 degrees and slightly damp out today… it was a constant pain! I had to crank the radio! Embarrassing to be driving around in a $35k new cool ass truck that won North American truck and car of the year award and it sounds like a damn clicking/ticking/snapping machine!?!?

I hear you. I have never had a vehicle do this before. I have the XL, it’s a nice little truck, and I dislike having to spend my time trying to figure out this rubics cube. I’m not sure what the dealer will do. I have an appointment next week.

Agreed! Best of luck!!! Stay tuned… I’m waiting for my dealer to call me this week as they ordered a new rear Ford emblem that covers the backup camera (defective) then they would have the time to “figure” it out… they didn’t even know there was a software update for the radio!!! I had to print out the communication and update versions!…ugh

Still nothing from my dealer. They've had it since Tuesday morning last week.

Wow!… was wondering! But knew you would update when you had something to update lol…. I know this has really been thee only major downer on the ownership of this truck… if this wasn’t a thing… I honestly think the rest of the odd nuances would be a non-issue… best of luck and hope it turns out good. If they figure it out and fix it! Please post a picture of your work order!!

Yep, will do. I've been trying to strike a balance between providing updates and not spamming every single day. 🤣

Yes sir… I have been trying not to be that guy that begs you daily about it either lol! But…. My dealership seems to be quite incompetent…. Let’s leave it at that… I will take it back to the awesome folks I bought it at if there is a fix… it’s an hour drive, so that’s why I have just been going to the one that’s 0.5miles down the road from my house…. But I won’t let them do work that this may entail!

Quite honestly ever since I decided to ignore all the rattles of the truck, i can enjoy it so much more. I have rattles every where but meanwhile I don't hear them anymore. I don't want to give it to the dealer to figure it. Most of the time it is either too cold or too hot and just at the time the car is at the dealership they can't hear anything.

I think I’m getting to that stage as well… it’s almost constant…but I just crank the radio

I have almost 2000 miles on my XLT.. no rattles or squeaks. I thought I heard a pop sound turning into a parking spot but that only happened once and could have been debris on the ground. All in all, the little truck seems very solid.
Mine pops on turns sometimes with the turn signal on

Alright, folks. Time for an update from me. Dealer had my vehicle for 10 days...only to come back with, "Sorry, user error!" They said I went off-road and had rocks stuck on my skid plate, cleaned it, and it's..."better, but there's still some in there causing noise." That didn't seem right to me at all, but went with it in the hopes it was actually fixed and it was my fault. Nope.

Took them 10 days to tell me that. And on top, I got billed for almost $200 in labor to clean that area.

The squeaking and popping continues. I will be contacting the dealer on Monday again.

So I'm out $200 for nothing and the squeaking continues. Not a good look for a $35,000 vehicle and my first service appointment.

BGN-

1st- Thanks for the update!
2nd—WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK!!! Dude I’m so sorry… this is the largest pile of BS this side of the Mississippi!!!! My blood is boiling for you!!! Did you say oh well almost everyone Ford Maverick owner has Rocks or debris in the skid plate or frame etc!?!? Hell no!!!! It was heard by the ford folks, we all have videos, we all hear it and experience it! I’m telling you they need to figure this shit out!

can we put together a petition and send to ford and the news channels..I got some videos and can make more plus the tons of us in here that do!

omg… I am HOT!! Right now and I’m not even you being charged $200 for a new trucks defective structure!!! The noise reminds me of when my recliner is up against my living room wall and I move around in it and it presses into the wall (old house paneling/painted) this is a structure issue!! The structure is stress cracking around the windshield!

sorry I need to go calm down and come back…. I apologize for acting wild… but dude they just bent you over no lube and rammed a hard dry sand paper coated rod up your arse!

Yeah, I'm not happy about it, but I will attempt to solve it with them first. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but I don't like how this is shaking out. At the end of the day, it's clear there's an issue here and either the dealer or Ford need to step up to get the ball rolling, acknowledge the issue, and find a fix.
