To play devils advocate, what difference does it make if did not know the very hour you have been scheduled. It will still be almost 3 months before you receive the Maverick. You'll still be happy when it's schedule, built and delivered. Three months is plenty of time to do any needed planning.

As far as concerns of shifting responsibility to the dealers, hate to burst your bubble, but the dealer owns the order and they should be in the communication stream.
That is what i said - dealer should own the communication stream - they are involved at some dealers - some of these folks have not heard from the dealer since they ordered the truck. Oh and your other point - it makes a difference to me and it is my money and my time.

Please be aware... having a VIN could still be a two month wait for production.

I rec'd my scheduled notification with VIN on 2/17 for a 4/18 production week.
Same for me, finally received a build week on February 24th for a build week of April 18th. Of my build week has moved twice since the original date. So still waiting and hope the date finally gets cornered!

DId you order from Bill at Crossroads? How has your communication been? I have literally heard nothing from the dealership since I placed my order in August. It's been frustrating.
Yes I ordered from Bill he always answer's my texts and Ive had no problems making my early changes but he nvr initiates any contact or offers any unasked info.

Looks like another no win week for me. CS said just in processing. Salesman had no info.

tomorrow is 9 months exactly. I want to cry. My email was never returned even after I followed up. Ugh.
I'm just stunned that you haven't received a build date yet! It's still unbelievable that Ford hasn't gotten all June orders scheduled yet! Ford can't say it's constraints when other later months orders getting build dates! Can you explain the reasons why June orders haven't been scheduled yet @Ford Motor Company ?

Hear you and was not positive of your meaning. Was reacting to all the venting, which is understandable to degree. but to have an one off issue with the email server is disappointing but in my mind understandable and the wiliness for the chat and dealers to provide information is a positive.

My dealer just emailed me and said that I have a build date of 5/9

Hybrid, Cyber Orange XLT - Copilot 360, spray in bed liner, and hitch

Order date of June 9
Something sounds familiar about that build...

I've tried Chrome, Firefox and Edge and all I see related to chat is the following, no button to initiate a chat anywhere on the page. <shrug>

Are you login to your Ford account?
I just tried again and the Start Chatting button is there under the Chat Hours listing.

I find something very odd. I ordered a fully loaded Maverick Lariat in the middle of October. Towards the end of February there was a lot of discussion here that the chances of getting that well equipped of a truck was going to be slim. Watching the Tim Bartz videos basically confirmed that I was not going to be selected. So, I decided I would order a Ranger. Going through the options I landed on a Lariat Tremor with the 501A package {basically the luxury package} and the tow package. Placed my order on Feb 25th. The odd thing is I have to believe that a fully loaded Ranger has just as many or even more constrained items than a fully loaded Maverick. The only difference between my builds was basically a sunroof on the Maverick so very similar in all of the other "bells and whistles" in the end. Got an email this morning that my Ranger is scheduled for production in May. Now, it could be that the Ranger does not have as high of a demand as the Maverick is experiencing but I do find it odd that it only took a month to have the Ranger scheduled and there are people that have been waiting for a Maverick for 9 months now. Sorry, not trying to upset people but just wanted to let this group know. I will say I actually found a Ranger Lariat Tremor on a lot earlier this month for under MSRP so I grabbed it the day I found it so I wont be taking delivery of either of my orders but I still find it upsetting that Ford doesn't appear to be shifting their heavily constrained parts {chips} to clearing out this Maverick mess. I will also say if anyone is bailing out on the Maverick, the Ranger so far has been a great option for me and it only took less than an hour to find one on a local lot that fit what I was looking for {although filling it up at the gas station is scary as hell - 18 gallon tank and averaging 19.7 mpg so far}.
The biggest difference I think there is between the Ranger and Maverick is the profit margin. Ranger I'm guessing makes more money for Ford than the Maverick does. Not fully understanding how easy it would be to shift chips/modules from the Ranger to the Maverick, I think it would nice if that would be possible that Ford would do that at least for the short term.

Damn I keep forgetting the ginger wig! That's why my production date keeps getting moved around! 🤣🤣
Makes all the difference!! 🤣
(It might only apply to Hot Pepper Red Mavericks, though, which mine is. It's basically the same colour as the truck. Maybe try a metallic gray wig?)

I had the same experience. No way to institute a chat unless you already have a VIN.
But there is a number there to call 800-392-3673. That got me to a live person. But I will add that I did this at about 8:30 am EST

Well its hard to get my dealer to respond. And the ford company is limited to what they can tell you other than being processed, can't get the priority code for either one of them for curiosity.

Very similar. Hope yours gets scheduled soon, I feel your pain with the June order. I read somewhere that non lux were getting looked at this week

Yours is a Lux though, whereas that one is not. Tim Bartz mentioned for his 8 that were being previewed this week - all were Hybrids and all had CP-360 but none had Lux.
