Thanks, this was actually a backup order in Sep 2022 with a different dealer. My original (Oct 2021) order finally got built and I picked it up this June at the 601 day mark. This order got rolled over to a MY24, and I honestly thought it'd be waiting a while because it's a small dealership.

Of note, Canadian orders do not get email notification of scheduled build week like the US orders do. The only way they find out is via their dealership (or potentially by calling customer service).

I never did get an accurate response (on the automated railroad system) for the railcar number I was given by the chat folks, but generally Ford customer service or the dealer could give me fairly recent location along the journey.

I wouldn't think so - I had to link mine to the FordPass app at the dealership the day I bought it (because you need to hit a "confirm" button on the touchscreen during the initial process).
