Your post was probably sarcastic, but all this BS every week further reassures my decision to jump ship a few weeks back and ditch my order...

I have no horse left in this race but it still ticks me off every time I come around the forum and see what a mess everything still is. Hope it works out for the best for everyone...
Nope, I am/was serious.
All these folks that are getting so frustrated have to decide if the BS is too much or not.
If too much then just bail on the order.
Being that stressed over a vehicle is no good.
Life is short, being that stressed will make it shorter.

The issues are not with Ford - they are with the dealers whom expect Ford to perform their job for them. You purchased / ordered a Ford truck from a authorized dealer - not Ford directly. You should not have to refresh your email every two minutes on a Thursday or go online with Ford. Your dealer knows what is happening with every order and if they got off their lazy butt they could keep you informed.

Well in that case then, I also highly recommend bailing on the order and getting something else. Especially if a pickup is not a 100% necessity.... There are deals to be had and not all dealers are trying to rip you off with markups and adjustments.

The frustration and anticipation were certainly not worth it for me and I couldn't be happier with my brand new Prius, purchased right off the lot, no waiting.

This is how I do it.

www.ford.com > My Account > Sign In > Support & Service > Contact Ford > Chat SYNC & Service

I just tell them what i need when they get on. It will ask you to pick one. I've chosen both lol.
I was curious so I signed up for a Ford Account. I didn't have one since I haven't owned a Ford before. One thing I noticed is that there is nothing under:
My Reservations, Orders and Purchases
Our records show you have no reservations, orders, or purchases.
Please visit our showroom for more vehicle options.

It seems like your order should show up here even if it isn't scheduled? Maybe not? If it should that is a bit concerning.

Just called Oct 23 hybrid xlt lux 360 CO no vin but was told it is clean and will eventually get built, Crossroads ford indian Trail.
DId you order from Bill at Crossroads? How has your communication been? I have literally heard nothing from the dealership since I placed my order in August. It's been frustrating.

You are right, this is total BS.
Call your dealer now and cancel that order.
All stress related to Ford and Maverick will be gone.
Go to another car maker and order something that you can get right now that will satisfy your driving needs.
No more Ford
No more Maverick
No more BS.
Please flip it and make a profit for your wait. Your time is worth something.

We aren't sure if that is the case. I saw a post about their email system being messed up. Members are calling Customer Service to get information and finding out their trucks have been scheduled for 5/2 or 5/9.

To play devils advocate, what difference does it make if did not know the very hour you have been scheduled. It will still be almost 3 months before you receive the Maverick. You'll still be happy when it's schedule, built and delivered. Three months is plenty of time to do any needed planning.

As far as concerns of shifting responsibility to the dealers, hate to burst your bubble, but the dealer owns the order and they should be in the communication stream.

Don't worry about this, for some reason the Maverick orders don't appear in this list.
You have to add the truck manually by using the VIN. Wish it was automatic, but its not.

I just got the message "All Ford Chat staff are assisting customers at this time, please try again later". Apparently we are blowing up their system. Maybe that will incentivize them to fix their email system....
And, after finally reaching them, no VIN for me...
