That I get. But what does the first number mean? Like after Bed Mat is says 2%. Do they have only 2% of the bed mats they need? Or do they have 98% of the bed mats they need?
Do do, Do do, Do do, screach "You've just entered 'The Twilight Zone'" anything you see or hear is from another dimension of time-space continuum a quark, so to speak or double speak, where Ford has ephoniously "Screwed the Pooch" on allowing the first of us that ordered to be continually disappointed......

I'm about to buy a Tacoma and live with the crummy gas mileage.

If I had any of these on my order (I don't), I'd drop them and get something aftermarket.

Bed Cover: Soft Cover - 16%
Bed Cover: Hard Tri-fold - 2.5%
Bed Cover: Roll-Up - 3%
Bed Extender - 2%
Bed Mat - 2%

It makes little sense to me to greatly increasing the odds of having your order delayed over something that's relatively easy to get your hands on after the truck is delivered.
I dropped my hard tri fold bed cover a couple months ago. Hasn't help any.

Based on this, I'd say my earliest chance for delivery would be July. But I think September/October is more realistic.

I'm good with that.

Kia - soon to be XLT Maverick
Info from Ford dealer:

Commodities / Constraints

Spray-in Bedliner - 47% (56% of current builds)
Cargo Management System - 46% (54% of current builds)
CoPilot 360 - 42% (57% of current builds)
XLT Lux - 15% (29% of current builds)
Lariat Lux - 12% (25% of current builds)
Bed Cover: Soft Cover - 16%
Bed Cover: Hard Tri-fold - 2.5%
Bed Cover: Roll-Up - 3%
Bed Extender - 2%
Bed Mat - 2%

* The percentages mean how many Ford can build with that item / option. Currently for example, Spray-in Bedliner says 47% -- so the maximum Ford will schedule currently will be 47% of builds with this option.

Upcoming Planned Production Schedule:

March: 5,500 total (2,000 EcoBoost, 3,500 Hybrid)
April: 5,500 total (2,200 EcoBoost, 3,300 Hybrid)
May: 6,500 total (expected to be 55%/45% - 60%40% EcoBoost / Hybrid)
I wonder how many orders have the soft folding cover?

Looks like my early August order for a loaded lariat will be a 23 model year if I am lucky.
Without actual figures of how many hybrids are ordered, there is no way to know this kind of thing. It tells us 25% of builds are Lariat Lux, which is fine.. but how many orders are there?

Now that the orders are closed altogether, maybe Ford can release that info.

So what I'm seeing .. considering Ford had 100k orders/reservations... At least 30k aren't getting their order if production rates can't get bumped up.

No, no one knows how many reservations became firm orders. I believe @fordvideoguy indicated it was a low percentage, but I can't swear to it.

But one thing is for sure.. reservations =/= orders.

Ah ha! I wasn't too far off when I said that when I saw the plastic cups start showing up at Costco Business, the spray in bed liners weren't too far behind. Now I know why my truck is scheduled for an April build.

It sucks waiting for nine months from my order date to my anticipated delivery date, but you know what it sucks less than?

Paying $17K for a 12 year old Ranger with over 80K miles on it.

What's the point of canceling the features you want in the truck to get a truck without them? Geez, for $30k I want what I want. If it doesn't show up so be it.

Exactly. You are going to have this truck for decades. If you wait two or three months longer to get it with what you want, that shouldn't be a problem.

100%. I want it exactly as I ordered it.. or I don't want it at all. If it comes in 6 months, great. 8, great. Gets pushed to 23 and comes in 14 months.. fine. But it's going to be to my specs exactly or I will not buy it.

Starting to think it’s stupid to even try to follow this as it’s changing monthly. I dropped the protective film last month as it was a constraint but the hard roll up wasn’t. Now it’s flip flopped so should I change my order again? People should just order what they really want and let them build it, parts will come in.
At this point I don’t feel like changing the order again, it’s going to the tint shop anyway so I’ll let them wrap it in PPF then 🙄

My daily is a 92 YJ. I feel your pain. At least I have a radio, but I took the back seat out and installed an Impact Dog Crate.
Had a lot of fun beating it up in the mountains of East Tennessee and was the driver on plenty of road trips…never let me down!
