That's insane! What size is the dealership you ordered from? I know that is kind of hard to quantify but respective to other dealerships in your state.

I ordered it from Ken Grody Ford in Carlsbad, CA. They are a popular dealership in San Diego. I have a hybrid order with another popular dealership in San Diego, Penske Ford in La Mesa. I prefer the hybrid, but ordered this because I'm not confident of getting the hybrid.

So this is what I'm doing. Had enough with waiting and also an awful dealer experience. Bought new truck last week. Wondering if when the truck comes into the dealer, would they buy it from me for a few grand over cost so they can resell it? Or even give me a couple grand for me to not take the truck. I feel like that sounds stupid but what the hell.

Was the silver hybrid sold?

That's what my sales guy said and I don't have reason to doubt him but the tires looked a bit worn.

Although I'm getting an XL it did not have CP360, sliding rear window, spray in liner, or moonroof so I wasn't too concerned with it.

Got me excited though!

Received a call from dealership yesterday. Hybrid engine on back order for a year. Wanted to know it I was still interested as I had an engine for my build. Received email today with VIN.

Another week with no email. Been a long wait since my June 29th order.

The one thing I know for sure is that Long McArthur will have a million orders come August since it seems they are the only place that can get orders through. This system is going to drive the smaller dealerships out of business.

Just got off phone with Ford (800 334-4375), concerning my August 6th Eco 2wd Lariat Lux order. Was told that as of 1/10/22 there are no constraints on my truck & I should be getting picked up very soon as they were told by factory that they are pushing to have all remaining Jun/July/August orders going through production by 3rd or 4th week of March latest. Also told that Ford is putting pressure on the transport companies to get Mavericks to final destination asap.
