That's a good Idea taking them down! I own 2 kayaks as well..
The only thing is, Having those racks already on the truck, they help with extra room in my bed If needed. Like throwing a couple of snow shovel and leave extra room for a snowblower, boots and extra tools, ramps, or recovery...
Very impressive π.
I remember getting 26 mpg when everything was stock. I was very happy!!
I even π π¦₯ slow down my ways of driving to get 27. Upgrading bigger tires, putting racks and hard cover got me to 21 - 22. I would like to know your numbers after 15k 20k miles. "You may update...
Man!! you going down too.
Looks like we can see the winter average 21 to 18..
I mean It depends what you have on your maverick. I remember doing 26 in the beginning lol π π After installing bigger tires, hard cover and racks I went to 23-22. Last 6 months I was hitting 21 until now.
Looks...
Sounds like a good plan π
Sometimes I even use cruse control If I do that I see my mav maintaining 22s. on hills goes down to 19 and come back to 22.0 but I have to drive like grandma π΅
Ik I can watch my speed and the way how I drive. But sometimes you really need to hit that pedal and mach...
Mav is in garage I don't do the remote start a lot.
Good to know that I'm not suffering alone hahaha!! I was just in shock when I saw my numbers. I was like I need to confirm this with someone!!
Thank you guys!!
Well I'm Glad to hear that I'm not the only one I thought my mav was broken π or something. But for real my numbers went down in a blink of an eye π₯²
Ouch.. That really sucks. π I was going to do the 2 inch lift and bigger tires, but that will probably go even worse! Right now it is at 18.6 mpg. I'm sure If I do all that I might get 16 mpg RIP to my dreams.
There is this guys in Denver with more weight on his truck than me. He say that he is getting around 24.0
Does altitude helps π€ ??
He has the 2 inch lift, 245 tires, racks with a roof camper..
