I’ve seen this posted multiple times, and it is sometimes but not always true. I have an order at Chapman and have asked a couple times if they needed my drivers license ,and have been told no. I have a VIN, so it seems like they are correct.

A bit more on this. I believe the reason why Chapman Didn’t need my DL is because I was already in Fords system and registered with Ford on the owners website (and now Ford Pass) being a current F150 owner. I now have all three added to FordPass, my 2015 F150, my recently acquired 2021 Bronco Sport, and my ordered 2022 Maverick.

ETA: if I already didn’t have “TooManyVehicles” (including a 1994 Chevy Camaro Z28 w/6 speed stick and T-tops), I’d be tempted to jump in this offer and go pretty low end on a XL w the 3K off.
I meet that too many vehicles requirement.

Yes.

We've been backed up today trying to get to everyone. If you have any specific questions please pm me, I'm happy to help.
Apparently, you didn’t care enough to follow any sort of order. I emailed you 45 minutes after the post. If you don’t care, that’s fine. It’s a hard pass. Best of luck gaming the Ford allocation system.

It's been about a month since I purchased my Maverick and I just received my SECOND follow-up call from the wonderful staff at Granger checking in to make sure that everything is going well and I'm enjoying my new Maverick. By far the best customer service I've ever received from a car dealership. This was my second Granger purchase but certainly will not be the last. Thanks again for another excellent purchasing experience.

I found a home for that Granger sticker that was politely left un-installed and in the center console upon delivery.

I to placed an order with Granger today, XLT AWD. I already have an order placed on 12/14/2021 with a VIN# for a XL AWD. I hope to have it by April. So I'll drive it until I get the XLT then decide which to keep. If I can sell the XL for what I have in it, then most likely will keep the XLT.

what if 2023 model takes a large price hike? Or are you locked in at todays deal?
Our discount would be the same. A price protection action would need to be taken by Ford. We couldn't price protect over model years.

So your saying if I place an order, and it is pushed to the 2023 model year, [very likely] and there is a significant price increase. I will lose my deposit if I decide not to buy.

We have given the customer the option to keep their order and re-submit as a 2023 or refund the deposit in situations where it has changed model years.

Where do you get that it is "very likely" your order will be pushed? It's been said repeatedly that this was a mistake they made with the Bronco that they're not going to make with the Maverick. I understand being concerned, but I am just wondering what makes you think it's not only possible but probable?

If you've ordered a 2022, you're going to get a 2022. They've been pretty clear about that. It is not outside of the realm of possibilities that they push some, but it is far from "very likely". Part of the reason for the recent price increase is because Ford is now paying more for chips to keep up with production.

well, right or wrong i have cancelled my hybrid lariat order, and after much pondering as to HOW the truck will be used i have now ordered an XL AWD! Part of what sealed the XL deal for me was there is now a cruise control option (and a good one) for about $250

That wasn't what I was laughing at. It was the absurd, completely out of left field nature of the comment.
We send an electronic signature document with pricing, configuration etc, then we place the order and you'll receive an email from Ford confirming tge order being placed.
I hope you folks use a quality electronic signature firm like Docusign. They have been a true blessing for many of our major purchases in this era of Covid business transactions. No contact unless absolutely needed, and for this purchase necessary for out of state purchases.

Thanks Granger for this deal and thanks to Docusign for helping to make it happen. ✔🇺🇸

I think I'm gonna do this.

If Hybrid orders won't even begin again until August, then my 2022 XL Hybrid should be in high demand come August or September or October. My scheme is to sell the Hybrid to the idiots at Carvana, then put that money down to hopefully lease a 2023 XLT. Prefer 2023 because the residual will be stronger than a late in the year 2022. Gambling that Ford will have a sweet lease deal by fall and that the hybrid will stay hot. Target is a $200 lease deal.
