Yes. And if they had offered AWD with the Hybrid I would have bought one years ago. I plan on keeping it until it falls apart on me like my TJ did (22 years).
If you decide that you still want a hybrid with 4wd, you can ñow get one in thé 2025 model.

Less issues. This forum is loaded with all the issues with the hybrid; battry, axles, sleep mode etc.
I'm a tech at a Ford dealership. To be honest. The only recurring issue we've had with some of them is the deep sleep issue. But it seems to have finally been resolved through resetting the battery life monitor and updating several modules. We've had no other problems with them.

It's because people keep weirdly comparing a basic pick up truck interior to luxury cars.
But today it doesn’t have the price of a no frills vehicle, though it’s still made cheap, like it was when it debuted. I ordered mine in 22, got it in 24, it was price protected, but the dealership never gave me my military recognition money. I would not buy another, for a host of reasons, though I’ll keep the one I have either till the extended warranty expires, or my grandson needs a vehicle.

X2 everything has gone up in price not only Mavericks!!
True. Even with the price increase, it's still the lowest price truck out there by a significant margin when comparitively equipped . And if you want the fuel economy of a hybrid, there's no competition at any price. I bought a 2025 XLT Hybrid 4wd with 4k towing, co pilot 360 with rear cross traffic assist and blind spot information, sunroof, and black appears package for 34,000 with the discounts applied. Yes. That's steep. But still less than anything else. Not only that, but great fuel economy too.

YES and I did, I had them all Ram, Dakota, F150, Ranger even one of the first Bronco 11s back in the 80s when I worked for Ford, I liked them all, I always got a demo back then so a truck was a weekend vehicle, I've traded in vehicles after 3 years with as low as 8k and most about 14k, dealers loved me and I lost a lot of money didn't care when I was working. In 21 when I heard they were making the Maverick and retired I said it would be the perfect truck for my very local driving, am the guy everyone would ask which vehicle to buy, and ford wasn't on my list and first year model NEVER ! so I ordered one anyway I liked it and said if its junk I would trade it in in 3 years, so 9 months later I got my FX4 with all the options except the sunroof, couldn't bring myself to pay 1000k for the roof, I LOVED IT, reminded me of my ranger back in the 90s, easy to park and good MPG 20 local and as high as 35 highway using the cruse at 2k rpm around 68mph speed limit here is 55, no issues except radio and recalls, never did the airbag recall didn't want some kid tearing down my headliner been there don't end well, every time we had a sunroof problem in my shop we always has issues with headliners so I did the dealer a favor. AT 14k and 3years I sold the vehicle to Carmax because dealer offered me crap, gave me a check on the spot 6k more than dealer and a ride to pick up my new 25 Lariat hybrid all the packages included, I wanted the black out package the most for the 19" wheels gives some height to the Maverick and feels like a real truck, am not looking up that much to other trucks now and like the ride. Am learning about the Hybrid its only been 2 hundred miles so far but impressed so far. Price wise I got the new pricing and saved about 4k sticker was over 43k with all the toys included.

On my case is a yes and no.

I love my truck, at the time I got it was not hybrid available on my area, didn't qualify for the lariat neither, so i got a xlt lux on the only color I love cyber orange, now the color is gone (yes is that important for me) and the lariat 4k pkg+awd+sunroof is basically the price of the ridgeline.
The main thing for me is are we buying a 27k truck with 17k in options, but basically same interiors+performance ? When is time to resell ( I like to keep my options open) how much % are we getting back ? For those with xl or xlt is have a better chance in getting back a better part of what they paid for, but those on lariat the ROI is way lower. So are we better getting a top lariat or a basic Ridgeline? Those are kind of close on price range, but at the time of sale now that we have mavericks every where I go I know is not the same than the past that you could use for 2- 3 years and price was almost the same, so my guesstimate is that the ridgeline might keep their "value on the market " higher.

I want a top of the line lariat with all the goodies, I freaking love the convenience of the maverick, but deep inside I think in the next 10 years I gonna switch vehicles twice, nope I never been crazy about switching cars this is my 1st new vehicle ever, but with technology going so fast I know myself and a full electric+ self driving small pickup is something that I already looking for, and 10 years is a good guesstimate for that kind of feature to be available, that's why resell value is important for me.

Sorry for my long crazy post, is just me trying to rationalize or figure out my own logic.

Dude, you have not looked at inflation. 30k today has the same buying power that 25k had in 2021.

The Maverick still IS bare bones priced for that XL. Everything just costs more now.

Yes , I ordered my hybrid as soon as I discovered them .
$19,995 , plus XLT , moonroof ,Velocity Blue , and delivery . No added markup , got Fords ZERO percent interest .
Per the dashboard , 39 mpg over the last 29 months . That's a whole lot to like !

A car show yesterday with my other blue Ford ....😁

Happy Mammy's Day !

I sure would, best vehicle purchase I ever made. Was even thinking about getting a spare one earlier to beat the tar---- I mean price increase, but thought it's better to leave that money for retirement & only replace my Maverick if needed like a crash & then insurance covers most of it anyway. I am curious to see what the next design of the Maverick will be.

Took me three swings to get it right. 2022 XLT Hybrid Hot Pepper Red had the intermittent Hybrid shudder. After 20K miles swapped out for a Terrain 2024 XLT Hybrid. Immediately noticed it was not as quiet, had driver's door wind noise and noticeable hybrid fan noise, and driver's door locked you out with keys in. Annoying--Ford aware and fix "still in process. Ordered a 2025 AWD Hybrid. Came in, hated the new barren LCD dash design and the absence of HVAC buttons. Passed. Immediately grabbed another 2024 late production (30k units later) Hot Pepper Red XLT Hybrid with lux pkg for a smokin' deal and its awesome! Whisper quiet, smoother and our favorite (now discontinued) color.

Love the MAV!

Yes, it is true everything costs more, and I’m well aware of inflation, but Ford jacked the price outrageously right away, and tacked on the $1500 premium for the hybrid, and it was still a bare bones vehicle, though I hear that may have changed with the 25. However I bought a base level EV in 2021 for the same price (cause I got the tax credit); but you know what? Even as a base model it’s loaded, which is more than you can say for the Maverick, or many other American cars, and it had a better warranty. It’s also more comfortable and the handling is far superior. I wouldn’t buy the Maverick again even if they hadn’t dirtied the brand, but the reasons are just peculiar to me, and don’t apply to most people.
