No, I would not. And I think the new higher prices are insane and there may be better options out there. Bought my 2022 XLT LUX lightly used (1200 miles) ECO AWD in October of 2022. At first it was great. Now at 20,000 miles not so much. I have six recalls I have to take care of.

Warnings of low battery twice, second time required a charge to start.

Turn signals hyper flash if they stay on long. Right side flicker and already burned out a bulb.

Radio goes out sometimes, then a pop sound when it comes back. Used to be rare now happens several times a trip.

Back up camera random freeze.

These are cheap pieces of junk.

I got my first Maverick in October of 2023. It was a dealer demo XL. I had a 2023 XLT on order, but had no idea if I’d ever get it.

My 2023 HPR XLT finally arrived and I was excited. Almost two years and 6,000 miles later, I am disappointed in my little truck. Deep sleep, backup cam, interior scratches that make it look older than my 2018 model S and the list goes on.

If it wasn’t covered by a $0 deductible warranty until 2033, I’d probably be getting rid of it. I might get rid of it anyway. I can’t imagine ever recommending buying one to a friend.

Bottom line. I would not buy another Maverick.
pure '22 hybrid xl - yeah the scratches and scuffs are unpleasant, I had 2 of the sw changes done - everything else works fine - for $21K and 25K miles on it and 45mpg+ and no deep sleep or anything else - I'm never getting rid of it.

I did. Had a 23 XLT hybrid. Put on 49,000 trouble-free miles in a year and a half. Decided to order a 25 Lariat hybrid last November when I realized I might never be able to afford a new one again. It came two weeks ago so I'm still getting used to it but remain very happy.

Most likely not. I have a 2024 Lariat Hybrid. I really wanted to kill 2 birds-1 stone, + added MPG. I want it to be all-4-down towed, and handle dirty garbage. Before this I had a 2017 Chev Equinox Premiere and a 2017 Chev Colorado Crew Cab 2WD, with a bed slide. I towed the equinox and put dirty junk in the Colorado. The Colorado couldn't be flat towed (2WD), but it had a 6' bed. The Maverick is the least of both of those two vehicles. Leather-like comfort, but cheap as hell and bad console layout. Can throw dirty yard junk in the back, but not very much. Have to put long lumber in the wife's 2024 Kia Carnival. Can have backseat passengers but they can't be very big.
I've already replaced the battery with AGM after getting the deep sleep messages. I purchased Forscan but haven't had the time to shut down all the annoying unnecessary messages. Added the "extras" that really should be standard on the top-of-the-line model - mud floor mats, tailgate strut, hood struts, under hood light, tailgate hole plate, receiver valance plate, rear fender well hole plate, ... Too, too, too much lack of "Ford Quality" and consideration of how people want to use their vehicles - IMO. The MPG is just OK. Living in WA it means hilly. I commute 14 miles roundtrip to work, and my overall average is 35.1. I've tried all the drive profile settings, and it doesn't matter. So I'm hoping a better quality hybrid small truck appears in the future.

A lot of these responses say they will not buy another Mav because the price has gone up?????
Show me something, (car,truck, whatever),
that has not had a price increase, and not just tariff related. Thats the way it works.
24 xlt hybrid, I would buy another , just hoping I don't have to. Loving my Mav.
X2 everything has gone up in price not only Mavericks!!

Love my 2025 Maverick XL 2.0.
Unfortunately I would not buy a Ford again for 1 specific reason. The Ford service shops. I had a horrible experience between 3 Ford service centers near me. 1 said my issue was covered under warranty. Worked in the next city over for a few weeks and went to a Ford service center there. They said the issue was 100% not covered under warranty. The 3rd got in the mix after the 1 in the next city over. That service at the Ford dealership said it was covered under warranty. Came time to check out and they said I owe 69.99 each plus tax for the tire pressure sensors. I complained and said but your service manager said they are covered under the warranty. It's a 5 month old truck! I paid because honestly I lost my temper and just wanted to leave. I then went back to the 1st Ford service center after that week of working out of town. Told the service guy I had spoken to before and he said it was a bad shop, the 4 sensors were bad from the factory, and showed me where they are fully covered under the warranty. Took that information back to the dealership that charged me and was given a refund that should arrive within 4 to 6 weeks back on the card I paid for it on. That time is crappy in itself. I also reported them to corporate and received feedback and a call from them. I was surprised by the call. True this experience could happen at any service department but the days and frustration it took left me wanting to get totally away from Ford!
3 Year 36,000 mile Bumper to Bumper Warranty those shops that told you the TPS weren't covered shouldn't be in business!!

I'm gonna be one of those that says no to buying another one thanks to price increases. I get it. With inflation comes higher prices. It's the way of life. That's how it's always been. However, most manufacturers raise their prices each year by the hundreds, not by the thousands. The only exception would be for a drastic redesign. The Maverick did get a mid-cycle refresh but was it enough to be raised by the thousands? I certainly don't think so.

As of right now, you can no longer buy a new Maverick under $30,000. That's far from the $21,000 starting price JUST THREE YEARS AGO! That equates to an average increase of $3,000 per year! That's excessive even by inflationary standards. With most Mavericks averaging well in the $30s to mid-$40s with the same build quality since day one, it's starting to look less appealing each passing year.

It would be one thing if they upgraded the materials and ironed out most of the recalls. Or, at least, add some more features like ventilated seats, memory seats, auto-dimming mirror, fog lights on other trims beside the Lobo, etc. That would help justify the price a little bit.

It was a bargain when well-equipped Mavericks could be had in the high $20s to low $30s but as they currently sit, no way. Some will say they were underpriced to begin with and they're pricing them at what the market will bare. I get that too. I just think that as the prices increase excessively year after year with no attempt at really bettering the product, I can't see myself getting another one.

My 2023 XLT Lux is a great little truck. I have had an 89 Mazda B2200, 93 Ford Ranger, 2013 B2600, and now the Mav. It’s MPG and ride is amazing between long road trips and grocery/yard runs.

I did the math from my 2021 price to an equivalent 2025 order and it was like a 6% increase annually over 4 years.

I love my 23 XLT hybrid. Yes deep sleep but it always starts so I can live with it. I really like how it drives and the fuel economy is great!
I would buy a Mav again but it would be an XL to keep it as close to 30k US as I could.
We've had a few Mavericks with deep sleep issues at our dealership. Often the solution is as simple as performing a Battery monitor reset, Other times we've updated several modules, and the problem went away
