My advice to anyone that buys a trailer ...load it up , and run across the scales to know what you're really pulling .
Water , food , beer , tools , grill , chairs , it all adds up real quick !
My previous small truck was a spartan Nissan Frontier . At some point after the 3/36 warranty the blender door in the AC/heater would make a constant clicking sound on certain settings , the blender door motor would stay on .
I researched , there were 2 fixes .
One was to replace the blender...
For once a year usage , maybe rent one , have it delivered and picked up at your destination ....🤷
If a commercial rental isn't available maybe a private owner would oblige .... 🤷
At one time I was driving 30k miles annually of which the last 15 miles to my house was curvy " chip sealed " roads .
Didn't make any difference good tires , or cheap tires , 30k would wear them out ...anyway ...I was buying tires from K-Mart at that time , and several times I'd get tires that...
So ....a year and a half after I started this thread still no definitive answer ....I guess no one has wore out the pads on their MAVERICK hybrid .... 🤷
When I retired 10 years ago I bought a used class c motorhome , sold it to a brother and bought a brand new one 7 years ago .
They both have the Onan/Cummins onboard generator that pulls fuel from the main 57 gallon RV fuel tank .
I've pulled it out of the carport , parked it at the back door...

I'm surprised by the lack of other people riding the dunes . Summertime is packed to capacity .
We meet some friends at Dumont Dunes every several years . They have the toys , we mooch rides .
That place is insane !
If you're a dune rider you have to go there at least once ...
