My one pet peeve is people calling the Maverick a "trucklet" !
It is a compact/mid size truck; and the only truck made that still fits me and my garage!
I hate that phrase, too. Americans have been taught to think anything smaller than the current F-150 is small. The Maverick is a mid-sized truck that's larger than some older F-150, F-100 full-sized trucks.
ChevyS-10s, Chevy LUV, old Ford Rangers, Mazda B-2000, Isuzu pickup trucks were "small."
That doesn't bother me at all. The term "Trucklet" goes back to at least the late 1970's or early 1980's when people used to refer to the small Datsun & Toyota trucks as "Trucklets". Heck, I've even heard people call the Jeep Gladiator a "Trucklet" based on it's small bed I guess and the Jeep guys don't seem to get upset over it.

I've had both people I know and don't know tell me to get a real truck and I usually respond with "I love my "Trucklet". It's just a funny term. I'm easy going though and don't get offended easily.

Wife said ours was more a truckette! I told her not masculine enough for me. How about The "Truckster"?

The Lariat window switches have 2, or is it 3, "positions"? Just barely press/lift it instead of a full press if you don't want full up/down.
This isn't my first rodeo! I have tried every type of touching/pressing method I can think of. None of them make it easy to stop the window where I want it to stop. My truck apparently has sensitive buttons.

Ok THIS one there's a reason for. If that's one of the ones with the torsion-beam suspension, then as it goes up it may move a little towards the torsion beam too, it's the way some of them are designed. Bugged me too but I just had to deal with it.

No one touch to lower the drivers window? Some people are soooo spoiled! My first 5 or 6 cars had crank windows.

mine's strictly personal: wish i could slide out the headrests from the rear seats to improve visibility through the rearview mirror--hate blindspots!

Maybe pull harder on rear headrests. Make sure you are pushing in real hard on the button at the base of the shafts (one on each headrest), Then pull it out! Mine came right out 2023 Hybrid XLT. I store them under the seat in the storage area.

The battery droping to 12.5 volts when opening the door after a drive. Trickel charger having to be hooked up 24/7 to keep battery at 12.8 volts. 2024 hybrid

I have had my 2024 close to a year now. It is an XLT with luxury and black package. I really like and enjoy the truck. But as with most vehicles there always seems to be one item that bugs the heck out of you.
My one item: I can't believe Ford didn't put power windows with one-touch up. Ughh! Every time I go to a drive-through I curse that I have to hold the button while driving off. My 2013 CRV had one touch up and down. That is my one gripe.

What is your one pet peeve about the truck that you would change if possible? Just mention one please. :)
Brake creep groan.
