hey HRG: looks like your bed has no liner? or else a liner that looks nothing like mine? maybe my bedliner covers up those drain holes? maybe there is no santa claus?
not a complaint justt an observation: bed's high in the tailend so naturally . . .
is there a secret plug i ain't found to let the water outa the bed?
thanx y'all for the width
thanx heybales for your thoughtful note. is google play the same as google play store?
says play store on my phone and anyway can find no option to check settings in this app
hopefully as you say the ford app will auto-update
i dig that and i did it--but now i can't find setting on the ford app to make it auto-update. here's a snap from ford's response to my query of how to do this:
can find no vehicle tab, nor any mention of software updates in the settings
how do i set my ford app to auto-update?
thanx y'all
said it on another thread am i so spoiled i can't just push a button every time i drive? i'm willing to risk losing key sensors on my marvelous maverick just to spite ford the stupidity of auto stop start?
thanx mwelby for the reminder to look before i leap.
now pushing the A button will be...
amen to that and it's not just that it's sunday--but i couldn't agree more: why am i being so snotty about a device i can override at will and am seriously considering doing something to it that may well leave me defenseless? is it worth that risk just i don't have to push a button each time...
god ain't that the truth on sunday! i know they watch me in my sleep but it's just that i haven't had to do this before: ford app is set to auto-update and i've never had to enter a password before
speak of sunday thanx for responding
just checking my ford app and it says i need an update. no biggy as i've done this before--only this time i'm prompted for my google account info
pretty sure i didn't have to do this with the last update. fairly deadly sure i didn't 'cause my google pWord has spatial characters and i can't...
started another thread about trying to disable the auto stop/start feature without spending money:
https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/still-trying-to-disable-trailer-brake-control-module.81338/#post-1342609
can't seem to find anyone here who's tried it: unplugging the trailer...
much as i appreciate the advice to buy a new thingy to fix an old thingy i should have qualified my thread with the remark that i'd rather not spend anything--much less 100 bux--to stop something that shouldn't have started in the first place
and the trailer brake control module shouldn't...
never tow anything and it seems like this is the easiest way to defeat that silly auto-start-after-stop "feature"--but i can't find a specific way to do it
vague suggestions elsewhere about "unhooking a wire under the dash" or "unplugging a harness to the left of the brake pedal"
anybody ever...
don't know if it's still relevant but i decided to try and do something pro-active--god did i just type that? like there's a con-active?--and hooked up a battery tender to the mav overnight
sho nuf: truck went out of battery saver mode and the ford app works fine now
my fault: just...
> Yes, I’m a Luddite.
me too! that's the spirit--though to get nerdy on you the correct term for us is neo-luddite. all the genuine luddites died off nearly a hundred years ago
and what's the first thing my wife said when she handed me the spare keyfob? "keep these in your pocket from...
guys please keep me from complaining but i was up in the woods just now and the truck locked my keys inside. after a mild panic i got out my phone and tried to open my ford app--and it said necessary upgrade missing!
is there some option in the app that updates/grades automatically? the one...
friend lives down in oJai and he says if you leave your car parked more than a day out on the street the rats move in. they're especially aggressive since they've been driven down into town by all the wildfires in their usual habitat
meantime here's one caught by our kat bodie. y'all...
