As far as I know, Ford only very recently started shipping a new part #.

Not sure when they started building with the new part, or even if the new axles are any better...

Tremors were supposed to have "heavy duty" axles, and I've read they're failing early as well...

Why do you need push it up? Is that an issue for tall or short people?
I'm 6.0, and have noticed zero difference in mirror placement in my 24 Maverick than I did with my 2011 Ranger or Taurus. I notice your picture is taken up near the ceiling of your Maverick.

My biggest gripe is the creaky plastic sounds in the dashboard and doors. In cold weather below 40 degrees the dash board clicks and makes small "loose plastic" noises. Also my passenger door hates music louder that Volume 12. The speaker is fine but my door handle buzzes with too much bass.
I have had my 2024 XLT for 7 months now. I know the plastic is lightweight but sometimes the truck reminds me of the noises from my 1994 Jeep. lol

You play music past 12 volume or higher? I have hearing aides and I normally play it from volume 6-8. I must be getting old... .

I'm only 5-10, if you pull up to an intersection, the mirror blocks a vehicle to your right, I have not seen a vehicle a couple times & it really makes me uncomfortable, to the point I took out the stock 10 inch mirror & replaced it with an 8 inch aftermarket to get better visibility. I have now trained myself to duck a little bit each time to see before I pull away from the stop sign.

And you’ve pushed it up completely?

yep it has kind of a J shaped arm on it and you can push/pull it up from the stock position and then tilt the mirror back into the desired angle.

For me it’s Homelink and stored seat position buttons. Me and my wife interchangeably drive it, i’m 6’2” and she’s 5’7” if I hop in after she drove it I am instantly smashed to oblivion.

it's lower than older vehicles but it's hardly unique in a current model. many vehicles not just Ford have a sensor pod there (a lot of them are camera + laser range finder).

it's a small truck so I can see someone coming from a full-size truck, especially an older one, noticing the camera pod behind the mirror and most people get used to it.
