I am due for the recall update and an oil change in 500 miles. What was Ford's solution? Curious for an update. I wish it could just update wirelessly like my Subaru did.
I have not had any issue with my cubby being damp but I also have a bed liner and a tonneau. I do notice that in torrential rain or carwashes water will travel through the valleys of the bed. So far lucky with the cubby!
On my 2024, the HVAC stays the same as when I left it. But if I remote start on a cold morning, it throw the heated steering and seats to max hot but retains my last temp setting. I wonder if there's a "smart" sensor to find the average it should be.
But then again IDK what software changes...
I always take off the antennae before a drive through wash. My buddy with a Maverick Tremor did not take his off and it survived. Probably not great for the radio antennae right?
In New Jersey they blend fuel differently for winter. I remember around November my avg MPG went from 27.5 to 25mpg in one week. No difference in driving or commutes to work. Still the same now in January 2025.
My biggest gripe is the creaky plastic sounds in the dashboard and doors. In cold weather below 40 degrees the dash board clicks and makes small "loose plastic" noises. Also my passenger door hates music louder that Volume 12. The speaker is fine but my door handle buzzes with too much bass...
