Very interesting do they actually do that? ThanksThe long tester (takes 3-4 hours, I believe) charges some, rests some, checks how much charge "sticks", etc. and compares to good battery expectations. A battery at say 75% that is sulfated will gain voltage quicker than a battery at the same SOC that is not sulfated with the same current fed. Voltage will settle faster with an internal short than one without. Tester just has to measure with greater precision.
