Two weeks ago I got a notice about this potential issue. I would like to know, but have not been able to find out from Ford Customer Service or my local Dealership what percentage of these inspections have resulted in these parts needing to be replaced. The way I read Recall Notice it authorizes dealers to replace the part and if not immediately available to provide no cost rentals for those cases in which the motor has already failed. This is not acceptable. I would not feel safe driving in a heavy rain when I know that this motor is in a "failure Situation". Next week Dealership wants to take a look at this even though I have had no problems as of yet.
One year with the MAV now, and very, very pleased with the purchase

I'm not sure I understand your problem other than you must take it in for an inspection. And the promise of a free loaner is as it should be.

I got the same notice on my early build '24 [roughly the 3000th 2024 VIN assigned]

There are no parts available yet. The full repair instrucitons have not been released. You can take it in for an inspection. If it passes (based on manufacture date), the FSA is closed.

If it fails, the recall remains open, and the motor will need to be replaced when parts are available.

If your wiper motor is inoperable, then dealers are to contact SSSC at Ford for approval. I don't know what will happen then.... they may have a small quantity of the motors available for those situations?

If the motor is inop, there may be a rental vehicle available:

Sold vehicles that have an inoperable windshield wiper motor may be eligible for a rental vehicle, please contact the SSSC via the SSSC Web Contact Site for further information. Any rental provided also requires an SSSC approval code for claiming.

36K vehicles involved in this recall (not just Mavericks). Ford sometimes gives dealers % of vehicles they expect to fail inspection in dealer bulletin, but not for this FSA.

According to the Notice, if wiper motor needs to be replaced but the part is not available, Ford is not issuing a "stop driving recommendation" so long as wiper motor is working. In the case of a motor already in failure, owner would be offered free rental. My dealer is looking at mine next week, I would like to know how many (%) of these inspections are coming up with replace recommendation?

FYI = Do not even know which vehicle was involved but when I had my remotely done camera freezing recall, I asked tech about getting spray without automatic wipe off (to soak bug goop before wiping to save fluid) AND he laughed! Then said "I just came from replacing wiper motor where owner complained his wiper had a 2-2.5 second delay before wiping. I have never seen that before". Might be that's the problem with some motors. Maybe it's just not plugged in firmly?

Why does the percentage matter? Yours is either one of the affected batch or not. It's not some quantum effect where as soon as the dealer identifies it's one of the motors that require replacement it suddenly becomes prone to fail.

Do not know if this is related but expect it to be...
When remote service tech was working on one of my hybrids in my driveway I asked if I could get a spray with no wipe switch for my windshield washer (to let wet soak some prior to wiping) and he responded that he had replaced several wiper motors because they would not start wiping for 1 or 2 or 3 seconds when wipers were turned on. This was a month or two prior to the wiper failure announcement. So possibly one would at least some of time get an operational warning, of sorts?
