In the mean time I charged my battery with a trickle charger, bypassing the BCM (directly on the posts; I know this is NOT recommended) and then reset the BCM following the procedures in the manual. Ignition on with engine off, flash high beams 5 times and then press brake pedal 3 times within 2 minutes. Saw the battery light flash on the dash confirming BCM reset. Time will tell how much, if any that helps.
Do you flash 5 times or high to low 5 times, ending in low? Just flashing is like a warning to other drivers or low high low high 5 times? Confusing!

I flashed 5 times, like warning to other drivers. I have attached the process directly from the owners manual for clarification.
I should have been more clear on the steps.

But # 2 says ‘ending in off’, if you just flash it automatically goes to off, doesn’t stay on high. 😩

The solution, imho, is a new AGM battery. I am curious what Ford is going to do...
Its not the solution. It helped mine for about 6 months and now its back to the same thing. The truck never shuts down the electronics from what i can see. Ive had pics sent to me from coworkers showing my parking lights on while its parked when im out in the field working. It also makes a lot of relay noise. If i double honk it it doesn't do it but if i forget i come back to a dead battery.

Which AGM battery did you get?

Remedy PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. THE REMEDY IS ANTICIPATED TO BE AVAILABLE Q2 2025.

My battery was getting bad, Glad I replaced it a month ago before the polar weather hit.... I am sure it would have been too weak to start with the freezing temps we gave had.

I told the service ad advisor 3 ways I did not to do the software recalls and because they did not effect me, one had bricked mavs and I have learned that if its not broke, dont fix it..... the morons did them anyway.

issues from recall updates:

1. Autohold is now very jumpy
2. power mirrors no longer work at all
3. Beside resetting all my customizations, I know have too re-look into the options I changed with Forscan (police mode, dark mode and silent mode) have also re add TSR

My 12v battery is currently bad too but has never failed to start. The HV battery handles the starting thru one of the electric motors.

So this is a "Hybrid" issue.
I looked at Ford Pass and my Eco, shows NO additional recall..
I'm a late 2022 build...

Jerry
I have an early 22 EB built...it was built 11/21. I do have the recall listed in my Ford Pass. Did you have an EFB or AGM battery when you bought your Maverick?

I wish the Ford bot were still here. Maybe they could tell me who I can submit my bill to for my labor and cost of the AGM that I bought aftermarket in order to fix the issue caused by their garbage supplier QC.
They will still issue you a case # if you provide all the vin details, your soc #, favorite pasta and how you love Blue oval products- lol

I‘m also early ‘22 build and just checked Ford Pass and I have this new battery recall listed. I still have original EFB battery.
I started having issues with my battery about a year ago and reported to dealer and of course they said they tested and found nothing wrong. I turned off daytime running lights and that mostly solved issues like ASS not working

The NHTSA has the full recall documentation. It looks like this is actually in fact another recall for the 22MY EcoBoosts with flooded cell batteries.

The Ford process is capable of tracing 12V battery production to the vehicle in which the 12V battery is installed. The suspect 12V batteries were introduced into production on February 5, 2020, and removed from production on October 20, 2022.
...
Component Part Number : LX6T-10655-f
...
Owners will be notified by mail and instructed to take their vehicle to a Ford or Lincoln dealer to have their vehicle inspected for the presence of a Ford Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) 12V battery. If there is not a Ford AGM battery present, one will be installed.
...
The replacement 12V battery BAGM-48H6-760 is absent the internal defects present in the Camel batteries.
Notice that it's an H6 battery which means it's for the EcoBoosts.

Respectfully, how is this not a HYBRID thing? States Hybrid specifically in the article.
Simple: the article is wrong.

FWIW, it appears my 23 EB Lariat is not impacted by the recall. But it came from the factory with an AGM.

Not a Hybrid only issue, the OP with the recall has an EB. Also the safety issue that it may fail during a stop start is an EB only feature.... also many posters here with Batter issue also have have EB's
