My dealer did not really know what the problem was or how to fix it. Finally they said, it is a computer problem that Ford will fix in 2025. Pretty weak tea for me.
Probably several programmers tweaking sensor reading ranges to add error flags for dealers to check and cure if needed.

I can't find the article atm but I read they were working on a software fix for the battery drain issue that should release early 2025 (wouldn't be surprised if the 2025 came with this already fixed). However I don't believe I have heard of any deep sleep issue on people who switched to AGM and did a BMS reset.
There's been quite a number on here that spent money buying an AGM battery thinking that was the solution and shortly thereafter the undercharged battery problem was back as expected. It's not likely just a simple "software fix". They likely will need to modify the method of charging the 12v battery, as the DC-DC converter is obviously not working.

Ford mentioned it being a software fix but who knows.

If it was so simple as a software fix, with the Lariats, updates can be done via Wi-Fi. Why wouldn't they have already done so? The fact that they have pushed this until this quarter of 2025 likely means there is more to this than they are admitting to publicly. We'll all know the second the real fix goes public how involved it will be in the upcoming major recall. Hopefully it will have been thoroughly tested to actually work, unlike their first attempt in the poorly designed charging circuit that they put in all the Mavericks to begin with.

Only the Sync software can be updated by WiFi. All the important software is only updated through the ODB2 connector for some unfathomable reason. Ford is still just learning how to do software...

I'd imagine is has little/nothing to do with the charging of the battery and everything to do with the draw on the vehicle after it's parked.

I've turned my comms off, and have no access to the truck via Ford pass app but the thing still pops and clicks for hours after shutting it off.

On our 2010 Prius it does nothing of the sort.

Do you put your keyfob in a Faraday cage (rfi-blocking pouch, sealed cake tin, etc)? Mine only occasionally clicks after a minute or two of shutdown clicking to pump up the fueltank pressure or check the battery level.

No, I leave it in the vehicle. Is that an issue? Why would it keep clicking after that?
