Thanks to the scheduling and production insights shared last evening by @fordvideoguy, we now know what I have suspected for a long time: Ford is intentionally discriminating against orders with XLT Luxury packages.

For months, Ford has been telling people to remove the luxury packages and Co Pilot 360 in order to schedule faster, but what I have seen AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN is Lariat orders with BOTH luxury and CP360 getting scheduled.

Now, Ford is saying that it will schedule a final 4,000 Mavericks for MY22. ALL will be Ecoboosts but NONE will be XLT luxury packages. It is notable that Ford did NOT say none will be Lariat luxury packages. It is so obvious that Ford is following through on its promise to prioritize "higher profit" vehicles here. Those with Lariat Lux orders are being favored, and those of us with XLT Lux orders are being flat out kicked to the curb.

Thanks for nothing, Ford. I can't believe I actually held out a sliver of hope when you first postponed the MY23 order bank and said you wanted to build as many MY22 orders as possible. Clearly, you only want to build the orders you want to build, and those of us with XLT Luxury packages can go pound sand.

Here's a bit of advice for Ford. Before you start taking MY23 orders, how about not offering options you cannot deliver? What a novel concept!
I’m scheduled for the week of 8/22 XLT, LUX, FX4, 4K TOW

Econobox with a bed 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love it!!! That's pretty much what it is. But I'd like to add it's pretty cool cool looking econobox with a bed. And yep we got some Karen's, and Ken's on here 🤣🤣🤣
It's quite astonishing actually.

The Mav is cool, ass-end looks meh, and it fills a need. For me the XL hits the spot for what I need it for and the length.... cant scarifice an inch of room else I'd have a ranger or a hybrid F150 with a 7kw OBG

The question that I have and noone can answer is why can't Ford fix at least part of the issue and schedule first in first out. I feel really bad for the July orders that are still waiting why November Lariat Lux Hybrids are being scheduled.

I agree on the ass end. I have a full size OBS 1994 chevy pickup with a V8 for anything big, and was looking for a small SUV type thing to replace an aging and worn out chevy HHR daily driver. It had to have a cargo area that I could carry boxes and small stuff like that or home depot /lowes type crap.

My HHR I would flop the seats down if I needed to hit the home improvement store on my way home from work. To this end I was looking at that type of vehicle used. Jeep patriot was really what I was looking for. Anyways while searching on the net for a used patriot with a used price, which was impossible to find,
something pops up for the maverick.

I went hmmm now that looks really nice. I wonder what it costs? When I researched the maverick, It tripped all the right boxes. The look, size, price, truck bed, AWD option, pretty much the whole package. Plus it was a clean slate platform I could modify into what I wanted it to look like.

I was originally going to get an XL with the AWD, 4K, tow pak, FS spare, and in cab power inverter, then the Granger $3000 off deal popped up in december, so I decided to move up to an XLT with what I thought was a nicer interior, alloy wheels, power mirrors, and cruise control. Probably a few other things on the XLT pak. I might have stayed with the XL if I woulda known about the cruise control hack back then, because I am by nature a cheap ass lol. But that's ok, because I think I'm gonna like that XLT interior better.

It will be nice having a cool little truck that's easy to park and fun to drive that I will be modifying to my tastes. I bet I will be finding excuses to hop in it to go places.

You ordered from the same dealer as me.

Honestly, Koch 33 must've screwed something up. Ordered November 1st and still not scheduled. Meanwhile, watched plenty of December/January orders get built.

Hope they're not counting on me ordering with them in 2023. Actually getting a truck is worth taking the drive down to Chapman

Lol. You've outdone yourself with this post, sir.

Pure solid gold.

Class. Action. Lawsuit.

Impossible? And yet I've had mine for 7 months now!

It must be majick.

Hindsight is 20/20. Who knew these trucks would be impossible to obtain? It is unfortunate how much I have learned about Ford's lackluster production and delivery process over the past 8 months.

No one can answer? No one bothered because the answer is obvious.

You can't built what you don't have all the parts for.

Next!

This thread has convinced me. I am about to go drive up to the top of a hill in my Lariat-Lux Maverick, park, roll up my tri-fold tonneau cover, and stand in the back so that I might look down upon the wretched, huddled masses.

Which should be built, CaN't BuIlD WhAt YoU DoN'T HaVe PaRtS For! Then those October and November orders shouldn't be being built SpongeBob. šŸ™ƒ

I not sure what or why other people have had such issues? I wonder if it is dealership or part of the country? I ordered my mav in October 21 i got mine 6 months later. I got xlt eb, alto blue, cp360, spray in, fx4, 4k tow, moon roof, rear sliding window. My mav is loaded pretty good i had items that where considered to be items to remove but never had too. Just puzzled on why peoples experiences have differed so much from mine.
