  2. Tremor road trip begins!

Truly appreciate and genuinely like the Granger Dealership - ABSOLUTELY worth my time and cost to travel to Iowa to purchase my 1st ever First Edition!
  3. Pre-collision sensor/Adaptive cruise not available

I had the very same issue pop up at 2,000 miles. After 5 weeks of in and out of Ford dealership repair assessments and work here is what I recall from the service rep - the work that was done: 1.) 4 business days of computer analysis and programming updates. The amount of time to do this...

  5. Ford Maverick Review by Santa Cruz owner

I agree with your comments here 100% - but I did buy the SC Limited 2022 while waiting for the 2022 Maverick: 1st Edition to arrive (eventually sold it $$) and waited for the Hybrid XLT Lariat (Which I like a lot!) and this is for sale now... overall the SC "fits my needs, wants and desires" of...

  7. 🤝 List of honest dealerships for Ford Maverick buyers

*** To Each their own, but my worst experience was as Sar-sucka Ford!!! The Sales Mgr was horrible arguing with me in the sales area about the change in pricing was supposed to be a markup on my order that I awaited 1 year to receive! And I had signed paperwork! I would NEVER EVER go back to...
  8. Santa Cruz, really???

This is a bit disappointing to discover, so many months after ownership. But it does not affect my use of this vehicle: periodic shopping at big box stores, possibly moving some furniture. I doubt I will hit that limit! No concrete, plywood, sheet rock or heavier items will get hauled by me.
  9. Santa Cruz, really???

Well that is a "pisser" of sorts, though it does not concern me with my lifestyle / ownership. The "Self leveling" back end is a huge benefit.
  10. Santa Cruz, really???

  12. Santa Cruz, really???

I like your thinking... and I have written a few MTC comparisons (https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/ford-maverick-xlt-ecoboost-2-0-vs-subaru-crosstrek-sport-2-5-back-to-back-comparison-with-pictures.26810/post-502812) to my 2022 Phantom Black SC Limited while I considered and owned...

  14. Ford Maverick XLT Ecoboost 2.0 vs. Subaru Crosstrek Sport 2.5 Back to Back Comparison (With Pictures)

Nice write up, a lot of patience enduring the time and effort to compose such! I wrote up a comparison of the Fully loaded First Edition Maverick and the Santa Cruz Limited (no tow package). The "essence" of your comments regarding the quality of build (Japanese v Ford) - are echoed within my...
  15. Hydroplaning Hybrid vs AWD EcoBoost?

    Amen... thanks!
  16. Hydroplaning Hybrid vs AWD EcoBoost?

In 2005 I had a 05 BMW XDrive = AWD and I NEVER had hydroplaning issues at all! Ever since then, I have always purchased an AWD here in FL for that sense of confidence when the torrential rains fall and I am out and about driving. Just an opinion, not based on any "physics" - regardless of...

  18. 2022 Lariat FWD Hybrid Alto Blue with Tow and Spray in Bed Liner, CP360 for Sale

  19. SOLD 01/20/2023!!! -- First Edition, Rapid Red, AWD and 4k tow package now at 150 miles...be reasonable - make a offer.

Both the Mav and the SC are exceptional Truck / Trucklets or whatever... I just like the SC more because of the Tech features, the cooling seats in particular (FL heat!) and the Warranty is unbelievable! I will admit when I drive the Maverick I really like the feel of being in a Truck. Alas...
