I can understand the frustrations with pre 25’ owners. The deep sleep would probably change my mind too. Bad axles and so on.

I own a 25 and have 5k miles on it. I absolutely love my truck and have used it a lot for hauling. I would buy again tomorrow.

I would buy both again. Loved the first one. Sold it because I got a great offer.

Only had my new one 2 weeks, bought it at a great discount. Has all the right options, AWD, 4K tow, CP360 and SIBL. Would buy again at the price paid.

I got my first Maverick in October of 2023. It was a dealer demo XL. I had a 2023 XLT on order, but had no idea if I’d ever get it.

My 2023 HPR XLT finally arrived and I was excited. Almost two years and 6,000 miles later, I am disappointed in my little truck. Deep sleep, backup cam, interior scratches that make it look older than my 2018 model S and the list goes on.

If it wasn’t covered by a $0 deductible warranty until 2033, I’d probably be getting rid of it. I might get rid of it anyway. I can’t imagine ever recommending buying one to a friend.

Bottom line. I would not buy another Maverick.
If at the same price, absolutely yes.

I'd buy again at a reasonable price. I think the 25s are getting a little too expensive, but what I think is expensive might be an okay price for someone else. Plus, there's nothing else like it on the truck market right now, so if you don't want a Ranger or an F150 or a Silverado or a Ram, this is it.

I definitely would. If I don't it will because of price definitely not the truck. It's been a joy to drive and own so far. Of course it's only a little over a year and 8500 mile 24 XLT ecoboost AWD. My only issue is having to talk myself out of putting more miles on it.

I had no issues out of my 23 tremor in the almost 7k miles I had it and with almost 5k miles on my 25 xlt maverick already and no issues so far (knock on wood).

Would I buy another again tbh idk. It’s nothing against the Mav. It does everything I need/want it to in spades with no complaints but it lacks fun factor a bit which is the only “issue”. I think I would def buy a 25 lariat, I don’t see them having near as many issues as the 22-24s but time will tell.

And a little personal anecdote for all those who are willing to listen if you think ford are the only one guilty of issues, before all this Mav madness I had a 2018 Civic that had 4 recalls on it (2 of those dealing with the turbo) and mine went through 3 batteries 12v batteries, (without me leaving the lights on for too long or anything) and popped 2 tires all in 32k miles🤷‍♂️. If you think ford are the only guilty ones all I’ll say is…good luck 🫡

I can't for the life of me figure out why the OP would buy a 10 year warranty instead of just buying a Lariat lux... Already has a 10 year warranty on the hybrid components, and 5 on the rest of the powertrain that isn't hybrid. But, sure.

Anyway:
Yes, I'd buy another ecoboost Maverick. No, not exactly like mine, I'd buy a Lobo.
Warranty covers almost everything including lights and keys. Also included a rental so I am not out of a ride when the truck is in the shop.

I would, no issues at 6 months / 5K other than a slight rattle from the instrument panel I have been too lazy to fix with a piece of rubber that was not fixed by a TSB. It is (or was) a cheap vehicle made mostly of plastic, I have no illusions about that. I also lost one of the belly pan cover screws doing my first oil change, which is the first time I have had to deal with one of those since owning an Audi years ago.

Only other vehicle I was seriously looking at was a Corolla hybrid, which they are actually selling them for $24.5k now for a base model, a little under MSRP (wasn't the case 6 months ago). Toyota certainly has some problems now too though, and I have been using the bed a lot more than I thought I would.

How much I want to gamble keeping the vehicle past the powertain warranty is another question, but who even knows what the car market will look like in 5 years. I can say with 94% confidence it won't be better.
