I've seen a few threads on here regarding the Wireless Android Auto. The two big ones seem to be Motorola M1 and AAWireless.

Since its Prime Day 2.0, they have a lot of them on sale. Anyone familiar or try one of the other brands?

The Motorola M1 works great for me. Connects quickly every time and never have to think about it.

I have the Motorola. Works great, but destroys the battery on my phone. But I'm guessing that's all wireless adapters.

The AA wireless one is cheaper on Amazon right now, but I have seen more recommend the Motorola. Will probably end up going that route.

There is another way to get wireless android auto. It's a little bit more expensive but the benefits out weigh the cost. If you buy an AI Android box off of ebay or Amazon ($150 Avg), you plug that in via USB on the headunit, and connect it to your phones' wifi and Bluetooth connections, and it changes Android Auto into full fledged Android tablet and will load any app that you want (ie, YouTube, Netflix, YouTube TV), launchers and widgets. Plus you'll never have to take your phone out our pocket again

I would check youtube on how well it works and the setup process.

I may have gotten a dud, but I never could get get the Motorola to work. AAwireless on the other hand has been pretty much flawless

I transferred my Motorola MA1 from my 2018 Honda to the Maverick. It works flawlessly and boots up a lot faster than it did in the Honda. It does not drain the battery on my Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra. I used a little piece of double sided tape and attached to the bottom of the dash right under the USB port so it doesn't flip around.

I did not know this was a thing. I'm adding it to my list for when I get the truck

Checked on the Motorola today at Best Buy. It was 69.99 supposedly $30 off. Probably will not get it but time will tell.

It's one of those items you absolutely don't need but once you get one it's excellent and there isn't any going back to wires lol. Bought one for my mom also and she agrees.

Agreed. I was somewhat against them at first, mostly due to price. However, I was given one(MA1) for Christmas and it's been great.
