Focus RS has AWD and it’s what I’m shooting my maverick to have performance close to that. Ik ik different power train. And what would I get out of it. 4 wheel burnouts and better traction in gravel if I rally it. Just thinking for the future is all.
Intelligent AWD is cool I love the system but for a more performance focused build I’m going for is is possible is forscan to just make the AWD system always on to 50/50 like Subaru does with most of their vehicles. TIA for any answers on this. And for the future of the maverick as a platform.
Honestly the transmission it just doesn’t feel smooth enough. Thinking of asking ford to look at it or find something off another ford to put into it.
I’ve had my MAV for a little over a year now and in my experience the connections are just weak IMO there’s so much vibration and any slight disturbance even touching the cable will make it stop playing anything. Driving here’s what normally happens. I’m driving just minding my own business...
In sport mode I was about to go 113 but that’s all it had but it felt like it had more to go it just couldn’t in 8th gear it stops you at 5k rpm I think or something.
