LOLā¦. Your post reminds me of those old Ford vs Chevy commercials I used to see on TV growing up.
I want to see an F150 make that stair step climb with a Chevy Silverado straddled across the bedā¦
I used to make a point to wave at other
Maverick drivers and sometimes they would wave at me first. When I bought my first Mav back in March 2022, I would often go a month or more between seeing another Mav. Now I often see at least 2-3 a day.
Very nice what you have done with your Maverick. More importantly I encourage you to be present for your 18-month old and cherish those moments. My sons are 26 and 23 and it doesn't seem that long ago I was doing all that little kid stuff with them and for them.
I got 42,500 from the Pirelli Scorpion tires on my 2023 FX4. Probably could have gotten another 3-5,000 miles out of them but with winter approaching I pulled the trigger over Thanksgiving weekend 2025 and got the Falken Aklimate tires. Like them fine so far.
The Bronco / Bronco Sport in this color with the white rims and red and white trim looks pretty cool. Not sure how that would look on the Maverick.
In summary I agree itās an interesting color but Iāll stick with my Atlas Blue.
I jumped from the OP to page 10 because I didnāt want to wade through 9 pages of BS and Iām glad I did. What you describe is a modern day chat board version of the childrenās game of āTelephoneā
That said, Iām curious to know this rear-mounted snow plow worked out.
Replaced my OEM Pirelli Scorpion tires at 42,500 miles during Thanksgiving weekend. Probably could have gone another 3-4 months / 5000 miles but with the winter season approaching I decided to bite the bullet and swap them out. Happy with my new tires so far.
You arenāt kidding that cutting up totaled vehicles is a racket for the insurance companies. Back in 2019, my 16 year old son rear-ended an F250 while driving a 2016 Ford Fusion. The air bag deployed but there was not a great deal of damageā¦. Just the front end plastic and grill and the hood...
Yeah, I went out yesterday afternoon and had no issues. However, weāve picked up 8 more inches since then, so it will be a real test when I go back out later.
