Well it’s actually a navy and brown, not black and brown. So how do you feel about that color combo? Lol
Lol, feels bad that my eyes can't pick that out! It's the brown that I have an issue with. Still going to wait for 2023 MY to see if they offer a better color.

Horrible design decision.
You will get use to it.
It is now several years I do not drive a car with a tradition big stick to control the automatic drive. Things will get easier if this will be your only vehicle

I do not like the concept of electric seat (and mirrors) adjustment without the driver memory buttons to restore such settings. For me is a waste

I agree with anyone who said they'd like the keyless start option on multiple trims. I'm in the XLT crowd - not willing to spend the extra $$ for the lariat, when I actually prefer the look of the XLT. But I'll be honest, it feels like a step backwards to go from my 2011 Jeep GC with the easy access keys and push button start to this truck. I'm getting a lot of extras on that XLT, too. Those who said it ought to be a part of the lux package; I wholeheartedly agree.

In the grand scheme, though, I'm still really looking forward to this thing.

Front Parking Sensors are not in the package!

I have gotten sooooo used to the front parking sensors when parking my vehicles against the garage door. I will need to go back to driving forward, getting out and checking distance, pull forward some more, get out...and finally stop iterating when it is close enough. Maybe I could just back in instead.

I know, first world problems but my Fusion and Ranger have spoiled me!

Hah!

Libraries are kewl again? "kewl" = dating myself.

My local library has a nice telescope on loan, popular TV shows on their streaming app, and plant seeds. The librarians don't expect the seeds to be returned. :)

Hang a fishing bobber from the ceiling to kiss the windshield when you hit the right spot.

The thing I least like about the Maverick is its made by Ford... Would prefer a small Toyota fuel efficient truck. But no way a Hybrid Toyota truck would have come in at 23k for a mid level trim. As long as this Ford holds up, the paint does not chip away in a few years and I can get 8-10 years of reliable driving, I'm happy. Its going to stay in my garage for 2/3 of its life anyways, so hopefully that helps.

My exact feelings, love Toyota's that seem to be built so well. But after 3 Fords, none of which really gave me any problems, I am ready to try a new one. It was the Hybrid drive that hooked me, and the size. And is not $60K+

No in bed trunk. They certainly could have added it to the FWD model....
