Saw another MY '25 leak today with an upgraded infotainment. I will definitely be passing on my '24 Lariat Hybrid w/ BAP. The MY '25 refresh with a 360-view + upgraded infotainment is exactly what I'm looking for.
I think you're missing my point here. I'm not speaking of an instance where a dealer has an allocation and Ford doesn't have parts. I get why a vehicle wouldn't be scheduled in that instance.
What I'm speaking of is when there is a retail order which can be built (i.e., no constrained parts)...
I understand the point of allocations is that it gets units to dealers who move units. That makes sense when considering only retail orders and only stock orders. Ford will prioritize the dealers that move the most units.
Where this scheme falls apart is where we are now. There are probably 2-3...
Not scheduled yet and don't expect to see my vehicle delivered until June at the earliest. At that point I would expect Ford to have announced the changes for the 2025 Maverick given when order banks opened up last year and when production starts. We've also heard rumors and have seen a few...
It seems like Ford has begun to schedule stock orders for dealers. The 'early' commit last week was retail customer orders only, and this week's 'main' commit is both. So its entirely possible orders were scheduled but very few of them were customer orders.
According to @fordvideoguy (nice video today):
Limited Availability = Below expected production values, some are likely to still be scheduled though
Exhausted Availability = Far below expected values, don't expect many to be scheduled
No Availability = None will be scheduled
In my opinion...
The only tire option I see for XLs on the Build and Price are the constrained tires.
For the record, the 4k tow on the XLT uses the constrained tires as well according to the Build and Price on the Ford website. The 4k tow doesn’t actually change the tires from the standard ones, only the BAP or...
Perhaps. But then I don't really understand what the 'Scheduling Information Sheet' is communicating then.

Right, but at least with the XLT the BAP or F4X packages will use a different (and available) tire. So it makes sense that some XLTs were scheduled. But all XLs use the supposedly unavailable tire. So how did 1000 of them get scheduled anyway?
Yup. They don't paint a very clear picture do they?
I assumed that the first column of the 'Restrictions Summary' was the expected availability/capacity on a monthly basis averaged over the year. So we can roughly expect 55% of builds each month to be hybrids and 45% to be EBs. These numbers...
The constraint we’re speaking of (XL tires) doesn’t come from this sheet, rather the build scheduling info sheet from this week and last week.

This was my interpretation of “exhausted availability”. However, the XL tires were listed as ‘exhausted availability’ last week before the March early commit scheduling. Yet, over 1000 XLs were still scheduled last week.
So how can the XL tires be ‘exhausted’ (I.e. unavailable) yet XLs still...
Interesting. Looks like it was roughly 2:1 EB:Hybrid scheduled. Consistent with the constraint reported on hybrids. Sucks that the hybrid is the constrained this month. It's already effectively constrained against the orders in the order bank. The order bank is getting very lopsided in Hybrid...
I'm wondering if, now that the order bank is getting down to the barebones, that Ford has started building dealer orders instead. So those dealers with allocations but no customer orders are getting trucks built before customers with orders. That would result in fewer people on here getting a...
Was thinking the same. But how do allocations work now that the order bank is down to almost nothing? There are dealers (on this forum even) with open allocations that don't have a customer order. Will they build dealer stock before open customer orders just because of allocations?
Well, fudge. I picked an easy to build order and still haven't been scheduled. Ordered July '23 as soon as order banks opened. Lariat, Hybrid, BAP...nothing else. The order banks are almost empty so I have to imagine they can't ignore my order much longer.
