  1. Interior lights not coming on!

I had already done the disconnect for reset and it lasted less than a day. I do not know for sure if they did what they said, or did some other things along with it, but for now I am happy. I do know the communication between service office staff and actual techs is abysmal at my dealer. Will...
  2. Interior lights not coming on!

Before I took the truck in, I tried to top the battery off, which only took 3 mins before the charger shut off. Checked it and was at 12.8V. Parked it in my garage like normal, and the next day I checked, and it was 11.8V. Took it in to Ford. They checked everything, but found nothing wrong...
  3. Interior lights not coming on!

All good stuff, especially "Was the Battery Sensor reset (as the manual calls it) - done on a fully charged battery? As manual states - it's purpose is for a new battery installed process". I have a lot to share with the dealer, thanks so much! Going to check my voltage before I take it in too.
  4. Interior lights not coming on!

That is not encouraging.... thanks for the heads up, I will share that with the dealer. You have a newer year and still have the problem, that is crazy. at least you get more time between it not caring if you can see in the dark. If I got 3 days, then it would not happen very often at all...
  5. Interior lights not coming on!

Update on the battery reset, only lasted one day. Appointment next week for Ford to figure this thing out. Put a battery charger on the battery, but it only charged for 4 minutes then stopped, saying fully charged. So the battery has to be at 100%, no less than that, for me to have lights and...
  6. Interior lights not coming on!

The dealer said they fixed the door sensor problem, but thought it was temporary, and it was. Yesterday, I pulled the negative terminal off the battery for a while and now everything works as it should. So it looks like that might have to be done occasionally. I guess I could live with that...
  7. Interior lights not coming on!

I have the exact same problem as most of you. I have a 22 hybrid, and the interior lights do not come on when I open the doors when the car has not run for just a matter of hours. If I come home and park in the lit garage and open the door, the lights come on fine (when I do not need them)...
  8. 2025 Hybrid AWD tailgate emblem.

Thanks for this, I was just looking for something to differentiate the ICE from the Hybrid. Will order one for my incoming hybrid.
  9. May 2025 - Maverick Sales & Production: 15,508 Sold / 17,573 Produced

Got a June 23 week date of production of a 25 Lariat Hybrid AWD, but now with the rare earths metals shortage and brand new tariffs on aluminum and steel, I am not optimistic. I will not get one if the price goes up though. Still have my 22 running fine but lacks AWD and full warranty now...
  10. April 2025 - Maverick Sales & Production: 20,183 Sold / 16,027 Produced!

OK, did not know about voice control for that function. Will find out if I ever get the new truck I guess. Thanks for the info!
  11. April 2025 - Maverick Sales & Production: 20,183 Sold / 16,027 Produced!

I have watched a ton of videos on YouTube about the 25 Mavs and not a single one liked the controls on the screen, instead of actual buttons. Who is listening at Ford?
  12. Saying goodbye to my Mav. The good, the bad and the ugly of upgrading from a Maverick

the two door truck looks way better to me, but not the size for a daily driver for my needs. Love that blue too.....
  13. April 2025 - Maverick Sales & Production: 20,183 Sold / 16,027 Produced!

I am still thinking of changing the color to that green you have, sure stands out!
  14. April 2025 - Maverick Sales & Production: 20,183 Sold / 16,027 Produced!

Partial improvement then, now I have been having to use the button out of direct sight, well over 1000 times probably, taking my eyes off the road. Having that button on the wheel will be an improvement, not perfect, but I wish they would listen to our feedback. Thanks for the info!
  15. Saying goodbye to my Mav. The good, the bad and the ugly of upgrading from a Maverick

Reasons for me upgrading were the AWD, employee pricing, a different color, new warranty, and the high value of my trade in. Never had a problem with the CVT performance, as I drive conservatively (mostly).
  16. Saying goodbye to my Mav. The good, the bad and the ugly of upgrading from a Maverick

I get it, you needed more of a truck than everyday transportation that would work for light truck duty. I think the Ranger has better looks than the Maverick. As for trucks, I have owned a Courier, Chevy Luv, many Datsun's, Nissan's, Toyota's, a Subaru Brat, and some I have already forgotten...
  17. April 2025 - Maverick Sales & Production: 20,183 Sold / 16,027 Produced!

I just pulled the trigger and committed to trading my 22 Lariat in for a 25 Lariat in red and AWD. The dealer says 3 month wait, but looking at all the comments here, that seems optimistic. Dealer has about a dozen Mavericks on the lot, but NO hybrids. I really agonized over this. Plus what...
  18. What Generation are Maverick owners?

Bottom line, is it is not a true scientific poll, just one for the members only, and one for the members that care at all, and want to give up that info, etc., and on and on.... but interesting I guess....
  19. What Generation are Maverick owners?

    I stand corrected...
  20. 10 Secrets of the Maverick

I for one needed the reminder, there are a lot of posts on this site, and I forget stuff.... so thanks for that.
