Sure if your not ever going to tow. Isn't the reason to get a full size truck is to tow something big? Unless you only want to tow less then a 100 miles or recharge all the time. EV cars and SUVs make sense. Now the hybrid f150 is fantastic for a full size. My cousin has one and he gets close to 30 mpg sometimes. It’s not green, but unlike @Scupking I have found that EV trucks do make sense.

2022 Ford Lightning Lariat Lux.
I tow. And the range is more like 150mi, depending on the weight and drag. Not mention it only cost about .055 cents a mile.Sure if your not ever going to tow. I'm sure it's a fun truck. What about the range in the winter? How long does it take you to charge? How much did it cost?I tow. And the range is more like 150mi, depending on the weight and drag. Not mention it only cost about .055 cents a mile.
I had planned on posting a pic. that I apparently have deleted.
But that’s okay, you do you and I’ll do me.
Most actually towing something big go with a 3/4- or 1-ton.Isn't the reason to get a full size truck is to tow something big?
I linked a guy on YT who does all that and has multiple videos on it.I'm sure it's a fun truck. What about the range in the winter? How long does it take you to charge? How much did it cost?
About 5-15% less, @home (level 2 4-5hrs from 20 to 90%, on the Rd DC Fast Charging 45mins, More than my Mavericks did.)I'm sure it's a fun truck. What about the range in the winter? How long does it take you to charge? How much did it cost?
There’s one of those around me too. Your right, it does look better than the pickup for some reason.I saw the SUV version of the Rivian the other day; it looked really good. The front end works better on that model.
That pretty little thing? My trucks are basic transportation to get me from point A to point B. I do not see an 80K anything going up my logging road to the wood lot and sugar bush. Just not going to happen.
That pretty little thing is made to lug butts and air around town screaming look at me!!!!!!
Butter-face truck?That pretty little thing?
You obviously have never seen one!
They look great until you see their face!
The front end looks like a 'double Edsel'.Probably a fun vehicle to drive. Should be for 80K.
Possibly the dumbest looking front end ever conceived. I still laugh, or cringe, whenever I see one.
People used to remark that the “smiling” Mazda front ends looked like they came right out of a ‘Cars’ cartoon.
Rivians look even goofier.
Too bad, the company started out with a clean slate. They could have hired a struggling California auto designer and hit it out of the ballpark.
I do like that color though. Most of the Rivians around here, and we have a lot of them, sport that shade.
