Lariat Lux does which is a moot point because it has ACC. The only reason it's the only Ecoboost to have an electric brake booster is because of the ACC. For stop and go the system has a very hard time regulating brake pressure with a vacuum booster hence the electric assisted booster. From what I understand, without it during stop and go traffic the truck would buck like a first timer driving a manual transmission
Sounds like we need to go junkyard shopping and try this out. :)

If I am wrong on this then I am wrong and that is another part to add to the build. Just show me some solid documentation is all.

Add an extra $2414.01 for the booster assembly. They aren't mucher cheaper on an Escape at about $2100.
going by dated memory, but older mechanical booster systems used a vacuum line from the crank.

My guess here is that at slow speeds it needs the electric booster since the vacuum would probably really low (that way if you pulse the abs at each wheel the electric pump still keeps it fully pressurized?)

If you look in the junkyards they aren’t so bad. You can get radar and bb for 300-500 total (not sure if you would be okay with putting these parts on used)

I have two questions here:

Do the wire looms exist in an xl?

Any other remote modules that are needed for the sensor fusion(like a DSP based processor module that aggregates camera inputs along with radar information to make point clouds for those stop go decisions)

There was a guy who had schematics to the wire I/O for the fuel pumps when @Tyvemattis changed their cluster out. That person may have the end to end service schematic that would help us decouple this. Recall their name?

Going from ACC to IACC... Sounds like a lunchtime ForScan project for me tomorrow. I will post back how it goes.

Besides enabling the options in the cluster, you need to change the BCM setting for cruise control, IACC also needs to be enabled in the IPMA module. Then you need TSR enabled to know when to adjust the speeds. You may need to also change the ABS module settings for cruise control.

For the ABS setting find a 2022 Escape vin with copilot 360+ package installed. You can use that to figure out the ABS by comparing yours against the Escape as built data. You can also try the as built data on the Escape for the BCM cruise control settings.

If you do happen to get it working correctly make sure to start a new how to thread afterwards.

I knew the BCM and IPMA modules needed to be changed and the as-built data comparison to an Escape. The As-Built info I have is from a 2022 Hybrid Titanium FWD, so I hope that is close enough for compare and test purposes.

ABS setting is the same for an Escape with IACC and Lariat with ACC
760-03-02
0400 0000 0575

That won't need to be changed.

For the IPMA the IACC settings should be somewhere in the first 4 digits for this register.
706-01-01
xxxx-99D2-A9xx

on the Lariat it is 044D
Escapes it is 0226
What applies to IACC you'll have to figure out.
The D2 portion if it isn't set on yours is need for TSR without using the Nav system. If you have a Nav system then that can be set differently but will need other settings for SYNC in the 7D0-xx-xx registers.

On the BCM you can try the easy modes in forscan first for BCM settings. They should be correct just make sure it also includes CC in the option.

The cluster settings for the 720 register I forgot what they were but the easy settings in forscan should have what you need.

First we need to enable the TSR menu in the instrument cluster. This has been tested on the 4.2inch cluster and is untested but should work on 6inch instrument clusters.
Works, confirmed. Interesting that it's showing UK-style signs on the dash. Some of the screenshots I found for the Escape Platinum show the correct sign icons....so maybe there's a sign region adjustment in the IPC?

There are NCAP settings also that may be involved here. All rhese settings are in the IPC module.
For your overspeed tolerances do you get an above and below 65 kmph or a single tolerance?

Depending which the setting for that is at 720-10-01
It should be at x*xx-xxxx-xxxx.
Just change the * with different values until you get a single or tolerance setting or double if vice versa.

There is also another value that changes at least on mine where the speed limit writing is on the sign.

It was at either at
720-09-01
xxxx-xxxx-*xxx
or
720-09-02
*xxx-xxxx-xxxx

You'll have to play with the values for each to see it changes the signs or not.

TSR should also recognize over taking signs in the US they are the white no passing signs. I haven't driven past one yet to confirm but there are settings to turn that on and off. Id they aren't only in the IPC module they should be in the IPMA module also at 706-01-01 in the ****-xxxx-xxxx. The * values is where it will be in either one all them.
