So, I ordered the water bottle to fit the front door. I had to specify that it was for a hybrid. It turns out that they are only making 40% of the bottles for hybrid doors and they were waiting for the OKTB.

I got an email confirming my bottle order right away, but I didn't get notice that it was scheduled to be plasti-formed until just last month. Supposedly, it was going to be produced this week, but it doesn't seem to have happened. It looks like it's going to be pushed back again.

Once it's ready, they will ship it by FedEx to the UPS warehouse, then by UPS to OnTrack. Once DHL picks it up and gets it to Purolator it should be just a matter of weeks before it shows up at the dealer, where I can go pick it up.

And it will still be here before my Maverick.

With a roll out that is best described as a shit-show and a price point that is unheard of, along with demand far exceeding what was predicted, there are bound to be some issues…
But the water bottle is sacred. When questioned about the surprise ADM 6 months after my order, my dealer quickly dropped his water bottle into the door and all was clear.

My son has a fairly standard water bottle - first time he gets in the truck he says - look dad, there's a special spot for my water bottle.....first stop he opens the door, water bottle immediately falls out and rolls across parking lot.

I remember playing in the sun for hours, gulping warm water out of a neighbor's hose and going right back to playing. Somehow I survived without a jug of water on my person. We still can.

OMG, I was going there. I remember there were no bottle holders in vehicles period. When 7/11 started popping up I began to drink coffee, so I went to the auto dept. at Kmart (before Wal-Mart) and picked up a flimsy (kinda looks like the 3D printed cup holders) cup holder that attached to the car door. Worked great until you forgot it was there and when exiting your vehicle closed the door and then had coffee all over the door, floor etc.

I ordered the Maverick water bottle from Ford thinking it was the largest water bottle I could find that would fit in the door, and unfortunately no dice. It does fit in the center cup holder but not the cool side door slot.
