I ordered the Maverick water bottle from Ford thinking it was the largest water bottle I could find that would fit in the door, and unfortunately no dice. It does fit in the center cup holder but not the cool side door slot.

I love my Mav, but the water bottle slots suck. Ford did tell us that it would fit a 1 liter bottle, but we didn’t realize it meant like the 1 liters of Coke!

Realistically though if that center console cup holder is where you program your fob then you might want to put it into another cup holder so it doesn’t block signal for push to start… happened to me in my Ranger..

Dude. A REGULAR nalgene bottle won't fit. The most typical, most base, most standard water bottle in the world and it doesn't fit. The bottle that is used as the standard measurement unit for what will fit in slots in backpacks. My wife's minivan center console fits nalgene bottles. It is absolute proof that the engineers wanted to appear cool but had no idea what absolute posers they are. You hear me Ford? It is a joke.
