Moving out of storage and I put the Mav to the test. Yes, it’s not too heavy but did squat a little bit. I have to do a few trips but worth it. I did not take pics of the first two trip which were the heaviest. Eco boost made it easy. Included side profile empty for reference.

This is why we buy pickups instead of SUVs.

That’s right. I have owned several Ram 1500s and a Tacoma prior to my Mav. I was a llittle worried about cab and bed space. The cab does feel much bigger than a Tacoma and the Mav bed is smaller than a Ram and Tacoma. Today the Mav has shut those doubts. I have no regrets with my purchase of the Mav and I do hope it last for years.

Nice job! Glad to hear you are finally moving out of that storage locker lol! I did that for a while when I had a big Econoline van. Just joking, I lived in the van and kept my stuff in the locker🤣

Van life… my dream. Although I hear it’s very difficult. I’m always down for a challenge… but, I doubt my wife and daughter feel the same. Lol

Before it was van life, it was called being poor. Yes it is hard and full of risks. but one time when I was 19, I was showering at a beach park shower down on the south end of Daytona Beach near the Hilton. Suddenly there was about 7 beautiful models all showering around me with a couple camera men having them do poses and constantly moving them to get me outa the shot. Good times. Also going to sleep in the back of my van on Sunset Cliffs in Ocean Beach California watching the sunset from my bed and through the front window every night for a month straight. Of course there is also 15 degree nights in Missouri, getting up at 6am to shake of the frost so I can go to my landscaping job and dig in frozen soil. Buying food at the dented can isle at funky grocery stores. Driving around blowing gas looking for a spot you wont get hassled. I even had 4 cops shaking my van trying to get me to show myself so they could roust me. I was in a public lot so they had no cause to tow me unless they could catch me livin in there. The gave up and I enjoyed the massage. Good times!

I'll be moving stuff soon; I'm looking forward to using the new bed extender that I just added.

Hahaha I wish I had one… I ended up using a 4 foot ladder laying across the tail gate with a ratchet strap. Lol I wish I had taken a picture. You’ll enjoy it. Small bed but “flexible” (that’s what she said!)
