  1. Total loss of power/Issues after updates Maverick Hybrid

I hadn't seen 23P18 mentioned in the reports from Ford... but it was also a PCM update, so it would be all be the same software! 23P18, 23E07 and 23P09 would be the PCM recalls for the 22 and 23 hybrid Mavericks.
  2. Total loss of power/Issues after updates Maverick Hybrid

For my own personal experience: I had 23C41 (BCM reprogramming for turn signal) and 23E09 (PCM, SOBDMC, ABS & BECM reprogramming) performed on 18 Jan 24. 24C01 (instrument panel cluster reprogramming) was performed on 6 March 24. I have had no issues.
  3. Total loss of power/Issues after updates Maverick Hybrid

23E09 & 23E07 both involved reprogramming PCM (and other modules too). Everything I have seen points to these recalls being the problematic ones. Both were "paused" on March 20th, and then resumed on March 22nd. 23E09 covered 22-23 hybrid Mavericks (3 Feb 21 - 11 April 23 build dates) in...
  4. Total loss of power/Issues after updates Maverick Hybrid

There were 2 emission recalls that may have been involved with this issue. I can't remember the model years and build-date ranges involved. If I find that info tomorrow, I'll share!
  5. Total loss of power/Issues after updates Maverick Hybrid

Turn signal and illumination recalls involved reprogramming body control module and instrument panel cluster . The PCM (power train control module) was for the emissions recalls. Based on everything that I has seen, it was the emissions recalls that caused the problem.
  6. Total loss of power/Issues after updates Maverick Hybrid

Totally understandable that you would still be worried. I would be too! My reason for optimism about the latest software update: Ford "paused" the PCM update recalls in mid-March (18th or 20th?), and then gave the go-ahead to resume them on March 22nd. That tells me that they identified and...
  7. Total loss of power/Issues after updates Maverick Hybrid

Usually that is the case. When did you have recalls performed? I don't know what DTC's your Mav has...but for loss of power on highway after PCM update recalls, tech hotline recommends updating PCM. A newer software update is available after March 22. In order to get paid by Ford, the...
  8. Total loss of power/Issues after updates Maverick Hybrid

That recall is unlikely to be related to the issue people have been having after PCM updates in other recalls....
  9. Latest Power loss recall is UNLIKELY culprit of your highway power loss issue.

Yes, I don't believe these issues are connected to this recall. I don't think the problems are related to BCM or IPC updates/recalls. It appears to be related to PCM update recalls performs Feb through mid-March. The PCM updated from this new recall will probably fix any issue from previous...
  10. Issues that the 2022 and 2023 Mavs had that were corrected or not corrected yet?

No, recalls must be done at a Ford dealer. Independent shops could perform them I guess...but Ford wouldn't pay them. And the recall wouldn't be "cleared" from the VIN.
  11. Ford recalls 456K vehicles due to loss of drive power (undetected low battery issue); includes 2022-2023 Maverick Ecoboost & Hybrid

I think some build dates were mentioned?? But mostly you'll just have to wait until Ford announces and "activates" the recall (for lack of a better word). Then your dealer can search by VIN. And it should also show up on Ford Pass at that point. A letter in the mail will follow. Ford could...
  12. Ford recalls 456K vehicles due to loss of drive power (undetected low battery issue); includes 2022-2023 Maverick Ecoboost & Hybrid

I think we are still a month away from that. It may changes, but Monday Ford told dealers that there would be a recall on Mavericks and Bronco Sports for this issue. More info to dealers in mid-May.
  13. Ford recalls 456K vehicles due to loss of drive power (undetected low battery issue); includes 2022-2023 Maverick Ecoboost & Hybrid

I think an updated update to PCM software should fix your issue. Around March 22nd, Ford re-updated the software...that should solve issues after Feb-March FSA recalls involving PCM update.
  14. Power loss after recalls

When did they last update your PCM? I am not a technician...but work at a Ford dealership. I have looked through some of the tech hotline reports about this issues. It looks like Ford had a new PCM software update around March 22nd. Field Service Engineers recommended updating PCM w/ new...
  15. Maverick Hybrid Died on Freeway this Morning - Completely Unanticipated

I really don't think that recall is related..... (or only partially??). That recall includes EB Mavericks and Bronco Sport as well. The issue in this thread seems to only effect hybrids that had PCM reprogramming recall performed Feb-March. I guess it is possible that they are related? Maybe...
  16. Maverick Hybrid Died on Freeway this Morning - Completely Unanticipated

I agree! More info is needed here to be helpful. The date the recalls were performed is also essential. The problem definitely seems confined to the PCM recalls (based on what I have seen). That makes sense based on the symptoms. I think the problematic date range seems to be Feb through...
  17. Ford recalls 456K vehicles due to loss of drive power (undetected low battery issue); includes 2022-2023 Maverick Ecoboost & Hybrid

Too early. Ford hasn't released instructions or even "advanced notice" to dealers yet. The FSA has not yet been activated for VINs. I think we are about a month away from that.
  18. Ford recalls 456K vehicles due to loss of drive power (undetected low battery issue); includes 2022-2023 Maverick Ecoboost & Hybrid

Ford hasn't even released the "Advanced Notice" to dealers yet. There was a message elsewhere saying that there will be a recall..... Dealers are supposed to receive more info in mid-May.
