The solution to fixing this was making sync standard in 2025 models.
Which means Ford's most direct solution is to replace the APIM modules with Sync3 or Sync4.
However Sync4 may require the larger screen which I am ok with.
22 eb awd 4k. I drive mine with a light foot and I rarely notice any issues. I never run eco mode just normal mode. 87 octane.
It wouldnt surprise me if the issue is octane related.
Also it might be worth mentioning where you live in relation to your issues. I live in Florida so maybe the...
Since the 2025 model has the 13.2" screen across all trims (not requiring Sync) this thread can serve as a placeholder for ordering the actual OEM parts (when they become available) along with instructions and tips across all trims.

Some wisdom:
Speed disparity on highways is something to always be cautious of. Anytime one lane gets stopped while the others are moving is a recipe for disaster. If you can avoid it or find a way out of it do that.
Also - if it surprises you it will surprise others.
Situations like that I...
Quaker State every 5k miles with a motorcraft filter.
Turbos are hard on oil.
Short drive cycles are hard on oil.
Stop and go is hard on oil.
Direct injection is hard on oil.
Looking to buy the brake hard lines for a Maverick that has the electric brake booster but I cant seem to find the part # on the ford parts site.
Specifically for a Lariat Ecoboost with the electric brake booster.
Thanks!
yes - which is why I want to add it to my XL.
One thing I can’t find on Ford parts sites is the Lariat brake hard line part numbers
I also see two wiring harnesses for the EcoBoost engine - one for models with acc and one for ones without.
I change mine every 5k. Why? Because direct injection and oil isnt a good combo. Add turbo to that. Turbos are really hard on oil.
For the cost of an oil change (diy with quickjacks) it doesnt take any longer than 20 minutes. I see no benefit in stretching the life of the oil change.
Ive read that some board members have installed ACC on XL/XLT Ecoboost mavericks. However that leaves out the electric brake booster.
Has anyone compiled a list of all the parts required to fully convert an XL/XLT over to the same as a Lariat in regard to ACC compatibility?
electric brake...

what load is being put on the battery in an ecoboost besides auto start/stop? Ive had that disabled since almost day one.
with the hybrid i assume ford has some wacky stuff going on - but with an...
