...If you are having this type problem it is your fault that you haven't made Ford fix it.
Wow, mods! With everything that is said in this forum, a gif of the middle finger was too much? That's laughable. Well, since the gesture was too much for the sensitive folks, here ya go:

I just live in Deep Sleep mode always. Truck never has had a problem starting or anything. I only drive 6 miles a day though, probably has something to do with it! Although even after a long sprint, ~12 or 24 hours without driving leads to Deep Sleep

For those of you that have replaced the 12 volt battery with a heavier duty battery trying to solve the deep sleep problem, what battery have you used and how effective was it?
My XL hybrid stopped going into deep sleep mode somewhere in the 5 recall software updates this year. Previously if not highway driven for 2 or 3 days, no interior lights. Had to trickle charge. Fingers crossed for this winter.

Well, I just picked up my ‘24 hybrid two days ago, and joined this group yesterday. I should have joined sooner, had no idea there were battery problems till I saw this post. I’ll start carrying my emergency jump battery and let you know if I have problems.
Have had no issues with a ‘24 hybrid, even with parked for days during a cold snap.

This is one of those Ford issues where some young engineers that never drove and worked on their fathers or grandfathers cars that had little electronics to drain the battery but also had alternators that had a 14.3 VDC output to the battery. So they design a car like a cell phone with wheels that has every electronic module draining the battery but the Battery Management Module only charges the battery at 12.4 VDC then goes into sleep mode at 11.7 VDC. For almost a year and a half I just learned to live with it. Although I claim to own a Maverick Plug In Hybrid with my NOCO Genius10 10A Smart Battery Charger wired in for convenience when parked for 2 days or more. I am unsure if the BMS module is physically wired for only 12.4 VDC or is select-able for higher voltage through ForScan. I plan on using ForScan soon when I find a cheap laptop to buy.

I got mine from O Reily's a super start battery , fit like OEM even has the hole for venting, so far so good it did make a difference.

I got AC Delco AGM battery. Perfect fit. No problem with deep sleep since.

Really surprised the battery charging posts have imperial threads. I would think they would be 8mm x 1.25mm pitch. Very close to 5/16” x 18 threads per inch. But no cigar.

I've only had the Diehard Gold T4 battery installed for about 5 days now, which for my issue, really isn't enough time to tell if fixed the random dead battery.

But I discovered something tonight that I haven't encountered before. I got home from work around 2230 (yay shift work), exited the truck and locked it with the fob, just like I have done hundreds of times before. The dome light faded out and the instrument cluster went dark like normal. But then I noticed the USB LED light I have in the 12v socket in the dash was still on. And then I noticed the Blisslights laser USB light I have in the rear 12v socket was also still on. I thought maybe I never noticed that the 12v sockets stayed powered on a few seconds more than the rest of the interior. But then I went out 2 hours later and both sockets still had power. My truck has always shut off both sockets about the same time as the instrument panel. Something changed despite having the OTA updates disabled and have done none of the software related recalls or even visited a dealer. Needless to say, I unplugged both devices even though it's a single LED and a low power laser light. I don't want anything drawing power from the truck if I can help it.

I installed the same die-hard battery about 11 months ago.

My truck is starting to go into deep sleep again, which is right around the time the stock battery started doing it.

Well that's not very encouraging . I swear just when you think you have a problem solved with these trucks, they find a way to surprise you.
