Because this is a HYBRID with eCVT none of what you wrote applies to this case.What is wrong with the whole idea is it appears the idea was to plow with the truck going in reverse and this is the worst thing you can do. Transmissions are not designed to push heavy loads in reverse they will break. Happened to me twice. Once trying to move a rock in reverse and another time a boat with Fords, then new over drive tranny, Ford paid for #2 because i had called corporate regarding the use in reverse because my experience with our fleet vehicles had already proven the new tranny did not like backing up with a heavy boat with surge brakes. Ford assured me they had fixed the problem and i would be fine but i wasn't the very first backup in my new Bronco 93, killed the tranny.
Why not turn the blade around and plow by driving forward?
