Old post I know, but mines completely missing. Not sure what happened to it.
But through the miracles of the search bar, I found the part number to replace it.
Picked up a drywall screw while driving from FL to NY yesterday. I've had decent results with the traditional push-through rubber threads but the coarse rat tail filing against steel threads has always bothered me and pushing the repair thread into the tire can be very difficult.
Yes, I know...
My '22 doesn't care what setting you have the cabin temps set to or what system is in use. It shuts down religiously unless defeated by the switch every time I start it.
So... inquiring minds want to know.
What are the chances that Ford uses a common wiring harness between options?
I have a large inverter I want to mount behind the rear seat and need some hefty power but my battery is under the hood.....
What Scott said. Not that I'm planning to trade mine in or sell it, but I would be very curious to know the resale value. My ECO/XLT/FX4/4K package is approaching the 65K mark.
I thought the same, but gave the window visors a shot. holding up very decently after 3 years. Well enough that I now have several variations of 3M's VHB tape.
I did the same in a 73 Ranchero. Broke the frame on both sides just under the firewall. Used a come-a-long from the front bumper to the back underneath to ratchet it up to "drivability" and drove it home.
That's a pretty cool idea, but I'll pass based on the distracted driving potential unless it connects to the vehicle and can use radar in lower visibility situations...
But then again I would rather have a heads up display for that.
My '22 will if the inside temperature is higher than the thermostat setting.
What I have noticed is that on a long trip, if the outside temperature is lower than the thermostat setting, the vehicle MUST use the A/C to cool the inside instead of just using the cooler outside air.
Update: it looks like the onX system just needed to catch up to itself. I have full access.
Handy tip- If you get a refillable gift card, it can be used to purchase online. I have one that I put just enough money on to cover whatever purchase I intend plus a buck or two. After the purchase, if...
I have the Tyger tri-fold and guess what..... when you have it folded it equals 1/3 of the bed. go figure.
But I did find that it WILL fit behind the drivers seat if I need the full bed to haul something.
The upper and lower portions of my brothers tool box (yeah, the big mechanic style).
Upper box in the bed and the lower on a trailer. With the tow package, it pulled like a dream with exception to the mileage but that was expected.
