I had one on a Jeep Gladiator, it was a lot of camper for that truck, it would be way to much for a Maverick. I put an Oru pop up camper on my Maverick, it was still a lot of weight; half as much as a Scout Tuktut, but it worked fine with overload springs.

Yup, and truthfully I'd probably go with a larger offset, esp if you want to use flairs. I have a stock offset aftermarket wheel, adding RC flairs and 1.25 spacers with 245/65-17, next tire set will likely be 265. I also have a lift.
