Toasted Salmon BagelIt would probably just be a tsb.
According to my couch research on google, regenerative braking in real world driving (overall driving, not a specific condition) can only account for a maximum of like 10-20% of energy returned, since there are so many losses to heat/friction, wind resistance, etc, that simply cannot be recovered.Unfortunately I don't remember specifics, I thought I saw 6 mph for another Ford, maybe I am losing my mind. I assume the downside is less regeneration, lower MPG.
Won't pretend to know much about Hybrids, this will be my first, and I have only driven a '21 or '22 Corolla Hybrid for 3-4 days.
The difference in the amount of energy consumed/returned at <6 mph vs <3mph seems like it would be miniscule fraction compared to the total energy possible to be recovered, which is already a fraction of energy expended.
Anyway I'm saying all that to mean if I could lose some regen and get some smoooov braking then by all means I would take that trade-off.
