Yes that's correct. Unfortunately I am loosing a big chunk of equity to offset the price increase that won't be price protected.

Pretty disgusted with 2/3 dealers I have worked with in the past year. Sewell by far gets 5 stars and I can't recommend enough. Wishing I had ordered the Hybrid there, 16 hour round trip is worth it for the honesty and transparency at this point.

Sure that would be frustrating especially when youve dealt with someone who is straightforward previously (Sewell). That seems like one thing we’ve all learned from this. There is a huge difference between dealerships. Some just play all kinds of games.
I have an order in with a dealership 8hrs away too, because so far they have been super responsive and honest. We’ll see if they can come through with the first day confirmed priority 10 hybrid order.

Honestly, this is getting brutal. My cars not gonna last much longer. Nothing but delays and more delays. By the time I get it, I'll have to get snow tires mounted

I just got bumped from 10/17 to 10/31 as well. That's five dates so far. Let's see if it gets to December.
