Just a heads up the CrossClimate3 tires have been announced and are supposed to be coming out this summer. A few improvements over the 2s, might be worth waiting for if your current tires can last.

If you use the tailgate assist you have to remove one of the stock tiedowns since it interferes with the shock. The new design allows you to keep them both on there.

I traded in a 2014 Focus when we got our Maverick as well. I have never been so glad to be rid of a car! Those transmissions were something else, just a constant source of stress while driving.

Driver side. Thanks for this write up! I'm looking to do mine at 20k miles just to make sure it wasn't underfilled at the factory since I have seen that a few times here. After that I probably won't touch it again for another 60k.

Interesting, I wish there was a way to check this without plunking down for a Forscan adapter.
