First thing in the morning, this:

The 81 deg is warmer than ambient and the truck had not been started yet.
The temperature sensor may be under the truck, picking up asphalt temperature or something? It was about 65 ambient, like the others show. But Low Voltage side was 12.1. Just the dome light on from opening the driver's door. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Well that is better than before. 🤷

It seems like 12v Battery is programmed for 65% charge to be ideal case. Is there any research that keeping FLA in this zone is Ideal for longevity?

My scan tool readings jive with these tables pretty well. From two different sources. Yet the truck keeps it 65% day after day, week after week, month after month.

Breaking News : News Flash

My truck is NOT trying to charge the 12 volt battery and/or the 12v battery is not accepting charge, not sure which.

Like 1 amp or less is going into the 12v battery even though it's 50% to 65% charged based on voltage tables for flooded lead acid batteries.

No "strain" on the system.

This is after a 75 minute drive.
Key on, DC/DC converter producing the 14.7 volts.

Turn the key off, it drops to 12.2.
Next day, 11.9.
Are you getting the deep sleep problem?

Oddly enough. No.
But.... the truck never sits more than ~16 hours without me staring it and driving it.

Ford's ONLY valid point is "What's the problem? It starts. You wouldn't have known the battery is/was 12.1 v if you didn't go looking."

Which is true. But I'm about to spend 2 weeks vacation off grid. 12.1 v makes me uncomfortable.

I think you are onto something. I took my truck to autozone and had them check the battery. They said it was ok but it needed charge because it's at only 60%.
I guess we just live with it.....
Keep a lipo jumper pack with you, that's what I do.

I am starting to wonder if this is normal for the hybrid. Even my Brothers ecoboost sits at the low to mid 12v range when sitting for a spell. When my hybrid was going into deep sleep it was dropping from 12.9 volt to 11.2 in less than a minute after I shut the ignition off. When the battery was tested it tested good but the charge % was low even after driving. The dealership with Ford engineering did something that straightened that problem out. I know they did an update because they told me, but I suspect that the battery was never correctly reset after they disconnected it to replace my DC/DC converter. Anyway, my battery still drops voltage a little but it takes days to drop to 12 or 12.1 volts. If you don't have one, I suggest a meter that plugs into your cigarette plug to monitor your charging voltage and battery voltage with ignition turned off. It is very handy.

Volt Meter: Handy? Or makes you worry?

Had I not looked, I wouldn't be concerned right now.

But I want to be prepared.
Paradox.

My dealer required the add-ones — or they’d sell the truck to someone else. Fortunately, they only really installed the generic LoJack. They just lied about the PPF and locking lug nuts. The dealer was part of the Victory Auto Group, and has since been sold to another dealer conglomerate.
I hope this is the last time you use this dealer an that you share your experience with every one in your friends and family.

"dealer required the add-ones" are one of my pet peeves.

Try letting it sit for a couple of days and see if it goes into deep sleep. If not, there is nothing to worry about.

This is such 🐂💩.

After my daily 35 to 45 min drive at 14.7.

It's just not "holding" charge.

I'd have thought the 22 Escape PHEV and the Maverick hybrid battery charging systems would be almost the same.
I started out with the same BXT99RT4A battery in the Escape that the Maverick hybrid's have, then switched it to the BAGM48H6760 like what's in my Maverick ECO.
I haven't driven the Escape in a couple of days and see 12.56V on it's AGM battery.

Unless there's a module drawing down the battery, I wonder how a LN1AGM battery that's nearly the same size as the BXT99RT4A would do?

I don't think the LN1 being an inch longer would fit.
